Chillventory adjusts the manufacturer's recommended shelf life to your actual storage conditions — whether you have a 4-star deep-freeze at −18 °C or a small 2-star compartment. Color-coded badges (green · yellow · red) show at a glance how fresh each item is.

- Fixed a crash on launch on iOS 27: the app now uses the UIScene lifecycle that iOS 27 requires for apps built with the new SDK.
- Update notice: on launch the app checks whether a newer version is available in the App Store or Google Play and offers the update (iOS: opens the App Store, Android: in-app update). “Later” hides the notice for that version for 3 days.
- New item: focus now starts on the first text field (brand) instead of the field used last.
- New (Premium): data backup in the More menu. Export all data and photos as a ZIP file, share it, and import it on the same or another device; after confirmation, all existing data is replaced. The device's language and date format stay unchanged.
- Custom categories now show up on all screens right after an import (or a change), not only after restarting the app.
