Vesta 1.4 brings the on-device AI right into your writing, plus a more personal way to reflect. Go deeper as you write While you journal, Vesta can offer gentle follow up questions based on what you have already written, so it is easier to explore a feeling or a thought. Ask for one yourself, or let a question appear after a natural pause. It all runs on your iPhone, and your words never leave the device. Start from a real moment Vesta now works with Apple Journaling Suggestions. Turn a photo, a place you visited, a workout, or a song you heard into a ready to write entry. Apple prepares the suggestions privately on your device, and Vesta only ever sees the one you choose. Choose your mentor in Talk When you talk things through, you can now pick from several mentors, each with a short description of its style, so you can find the voice that fits how you want to reflect. Privacy, in plain words A new privacy screen explains exactly how Vesta keeps your journal yours, with honest wording that adapts to whether Advanced Data Protection is on. More polish Entries now show a clear title in the detail view, insights no longer repeat your own words back to you, themes appear in your language, and a reflection you save from a conversation reads as your own note rather than a transcript. Many smaller refinements round out the release. As always, everything that matters happens on your device. No account, no tracking, and no cloud ever reading your journal.

Capture a thought from anywhere, and let Vesta do the rest. This update makes it faster to get what is on your mind into your journal, with everything still processed and stored privately on your device. Add to Vesta from any app - Share a photo, a screenshot, a link, or selected text from Safari, Photos, Messages, or almost any app, and save it straight to your journal with an optional note. - The shared media stays on your device and is encrypted, just like everything else in Vesta. Shortcuts and Siri - New actions let you create an entry, add a note with a photo, or log your mood without opening the app. - Build your own routines or ask Siri, so journaling fits the way you already work. Smarter, calmer entries - Each entry now gets a short, thoughtful title, generated on your device, so your journal is easy to scan at a glance. - Emotion badges appear on every entry once it has been analyzed, and you can edit any title yourself. A clearer look at how you feel - The Mood Trend now adapts to the time range you choose: daily bars for the week, a gentle line for the month, weekly bars for the quarter, and a year in pixels view for all time. - A new Emotions section surfaces the feelings you write about most, including the quieter ones a single chart cannot show. More polish - Better readability in Dark Mode, a clearer first run experience, and small refinements throughout. As always, Vesta has no account and no cloud requirement. The on device AI reads every entry for emotion, theme, and meaning, and nothing you write is ever sent to a server.
