OSH - Zero Trust SSH
软件开发工具
仅适用于 iPhone
免费 · 专为 iPhone 设计。未针对 macOS 验证。
OSH turns your iPhone into a hardware-backed approver for zero-trust SSH access.
Instead of long-lived SSH keys scattered across laptops, your team's gateway issues short-lived SSH certificates only after a human approves each request. OSH is where that approval happens — on a device you carry, protected by Face ID and the Secure Enclave.
HOW IT WORKS
• Enroll your device by scanning the gateway's QR code.
• When someone requests SSH access, OSH shows you who, what, and where.
• Approve or deny with Face ID. Your approval is signed by a key that lives only in the Secure Enclave.
• The gateway issues a short-lived certificate — no standing keys, no shared secrets.
WHY IT'S SECURE
• The signing key is generated inside the Secure Enclave and is non-exportable — it can never leave your iPhone.
• Every approval requires biometric authentication.
• OSH connects only to the gateway you configure. It has no analytics, no trackers, no ads, and no third-party SDKs.
FOR TEAMS
• Role-aware: signers, admins, and root see the controls appropriate to them.
• Review access rules, approval history, and gateway logs from the app.
OSH requires a compatible zero-trust SSH gateway to connect to. If your organization doesn't run one yet, contact us at ad@openlay.com.
更多 Host keys, Team tab and fixes
- Host keys (super admin and root): a new screen under Team lists the servers of the Group you are working in, each under the name you gave it. Servers that need you come first: one waiting for approval shows its fingerprints for you to compare before you approve, and one with no host key has Add host key, which makes a one-time code and shows the command to run on the server. The same code is offered right after you add a server. A host key you approve is checked when people connect, so a server that changes its key is refused instead of trusted.
- Host keys needs a gateway from version 0.40.0. On an older gateway the screen says so.
- Team: leaving the Team tab now returns it to its home screen, instead of reopening the screen you were last in.
- People: a root now sees the other root.
- Safer approvals: the app tells you when the Face ID key that signs your approvals can no longer be used.
- Fewer false errors: a request the gateway refuses because it was sent twice is retried once before the app gives up.

Second root, clearer Groups, safer actions
- Second root: the primary root can now appoint one more person as a second root, with every root power, and remove them again. The primary root can never be removed. Needs gateway 0.36 or newer.
- Groups: an admin or super admin sees only the Groups they manage. You can remove a computer from one Group without removing it everywhere, approve a computer that asks for more Groups, and people with a read-only role now see a screen that fits what they can do.
- Approval history: each entry is now a plain sentence naming the computer, the invite code, the person and who acted, instead of raw ids.
- Certificates: "Update certificate" tells you when it worked and goes away once their certificate matches their role.
- Safer actions: Remove, Revoke, Delete and Reject now ask you to confirm first.
Some features need a recent gateway; on an older one the app simply hides them.

Groups and approvals
- Group admins and super admins can now approve SSH access to servers in their Group. A new "Update certificate" action in the Admin tab refreshes a person's certificate after their role changes.
- The Approvals tab follows the Group you have selected, so you only see requests for the servers you are working with.
- Tapping a notification now takes you straight to the right place: a server-access request opens Approvals in the Group that holds the server, and a person or computer waiting for approval opens its list in the Group where it waits.
The Group features need a gateway that supports Groups.

Live admin updates - Rules, Groups, Servers, Signers and Devices in the Admin tab now refresh by themselves. A change made by another admin shows up within about a second (with gateway 0.29.0 or newer; older gateways keep the previous 5-second refresh).
Stronger approvals - When your gateway (0.29.0 or newer) sends the full details, the app now signs exactly what the certificate authority will issue. Older gateways keep working as before.
Fixes - The last item you delete no longer lingers on screen. The "Offline" bar no longer appears by mistake before you finish registering. Added the Local Network permission description so gateways on a private network can be reached.

Client versions
- A new Client versions screen in Admin: root sets the minimum version of the OSH desktop app and the osh command line, with a deadline. Until the deadline older builds keep working and are told to update; after it they cannot get a certificate or enroll. Needs gateway 0.26.0 or newer.
- Require the latest version: one tap sets both minimums to the newest release, enforced in 7, 14 or 30 days. Needs gateway 0.27.0 or newer.
- Each machine now shows which osh build it runs, so you can see who is behind before you set a minimum. Needs gateway 0.25.0 or newer.
Device keys
- An approval request, and every screen that describes a machine, now says what holds its device key: a TPM, a Secure Enclave, or a file. Needs gateway 0.24.0 or newer.
Fixes
- The app no longer crashes on Connect when the gateway address has a stray space or a mistyped port. Before, it crashed again on every launch until it was deleted.
- A phone promoted to admin now shows pending approvals right away, without reopening the app.
- A rule stays on screen when its machine has a long name.
On an older gateway the new screens say so; everything else works as before.

Notifications
- One Notifications screen in Admin: how approvers' phones ring, and where your team hears about requests.
- Team channels: add Slack, webhook or Telegram channels from the phone, test them, and sign each change with Face ID.
- Tapping a link in a Slack or Telegram message opens the right screen in the app.
Phone alerts (root)
- Turn on phone alerts through Open Layer's push relay right from the app, without access to the server.
- The status now says whether the gateway is waiting for approval, paused, or removed, and root can withdraw or stop and apply again under another name.
Security
- Every request the app sends to the gateway is signed with a key held on this device.
Fixes
- Fixed crashes when swiping list rows and when editing a notification channel.
1.0.6 9月29日
Approvals
- The Approvals tab now shows only what still needs your decision.
- Approval history is behind the log button. Each entry opens the full request: who asked, which server and user, who approved each step, and why a request was refused.
- Tapping a notification opens the right screen, including from the lock screen.
- Notification details are encrypted so only your phone can read them.
Admin
- Access Rules lead with the server name, flag rules that any enrolled device can use, and are grouped by server group.
- A rule can now name up to five devices.
- The Devices and Servers lists keep their order instead of reshuffling while you look at them.
- The Gateway screen shows which version your gateway runs and when an update is available.
Fixes
- The Admin tab no longer freezes when going back on iOS 27.

• Open network access from your phone. A super admin can now let a single IP address reach the gateway for a limited time — type the address, read exactly what the gateway will do, and approve with Face ID. The access expires on its own.
• Your device's Approval tab shows who approved this device and when, instead of an empty screen.
• Rules no longer offer signers that cannot approve, so a rule you create will not be rejected later.
• An approval row now shows both the machine asking and the destination it wants to reach. Previously the machine name appeared twice and the destination was cut short.
• The gateway address placeholder is no longer styled as if it were a real saved value.
1.0.4 7月29日
• The approval screen now shows the whole approval chain — who has already signed, who is next, and how far a request has got.
• Approve and Deny are offered only when the chain is waiting on your device. When it is not your turn, the screen says what you already decided and who it is waiting on.
• Create and Edit Rule now state which role a rule grants when a server offers only one, instead of a control that looked unpressed.
• Editing a rule onto a server that does not offer its role no longer leaves the role unset.
• You can paste an enrollment link when scanning the QR code is not possible.
• Server records no longer carry an unused IP field.
1.0.3 7月27日
• Scan a web-admin login QR right inside the app — no need to switch to the Camera app.
• The Signers list now updates in real time, shows each device's specific model, and lets you remove expired registrations.
• New admin approval history to review promote and revoke actions.
• Clearer messages when an access request is denied.
• Support for SSH servers on custom ports.
• Stability and interface improvements.
1.0.2 7月21日
• New app icon.
• Approvals now appear in real time — no need to reopen the app.
• Pending requests show a live countdown instead of a frozen timestamp.
• Role changes take effect immediately after a promotion — no relaunch.
• Admins can remove pending devices, and the Admin badge no longer sticks.
• Clearer step-by-step guidance on the approval waiting screen.
• Fixed entering "." in the IP Address field.
