Local-network client for robot vacuums: control, map, and onboard your robot through a self-hosted server instead of the robot cloud. Kotlin/Compose Multiplatform.
更多 LocalRock 1.4.0 adds routines, room types and beta features, and fixes Zone clean and Pin & Go.
New
- Routines: More > Routines lists the routines your server keeps and runs one with a tap. Needs local_roborock_server 1.1.0 or newer.
- Room types: pick a type such as Kitchen or Bedroom for a room, or give it a name of your own.
- Beta features: on newer robots, Settings > Beta features has switches for options such as FlexiArm, gap deep clean and dirty object detection. Only options your robot supports are shown.
- Schedules can be set to any minute and follow your phone's 12 or 24-hour clock.
- Empty the robot's built-in water tank through the dock.
- The sign-in screen is available in German, with more to follow.
Fixed
- Zone clean and Pin & Go send the robot to the spot you drew or tapped.
- A zoomed map reaches the edge of the screen and keeps its zoom while the robot cleans.
- After switching floors, the right map appears once the robot has loaded it.
- Rooms can be renamed on robots with an empty room table.
- Dock settings only offer what your dock supports.
- Volume and child lock now apply on more robots.
- A refused schedule, carpet mode or light setting now shows the robot's error.
- Connecting through a reverse proxy works on iOS. The app now checks that your server's certificate matches its host name.

Settings per room
Choose Per room in the cleaning mode to give every room its own suction, water and route, for example mopping the kitchen and only vacuuming the bedroom.
Cleaning order
Rooms you pick are cleaned in the order you tap them. More > Rooms > Default cleaning order sets the order for a clean without picked rooms.
SmartPlan
On robots that have it, SmartPlan lets the robot choose suction, water and route for each room.
Robot alerts
Settings > Notifications can tell you when a robot gets stuck, finishes cleaning, or its dock needs attention. Alerts arrive while LocalRock is open.
Fixes
- The app connects faster when it starts and when you return to it.
- The device list no longer shows a robot as online when it is not.
- Map editing and map switching work on older robots.
- A robot that never used the official app can save its first map.
1.3.0 10月12日
LocalRock 1.2.0 brings a map editor and full map management.
MAP EDITOR
Tap the pencil on the map to draw no-go zones, invisible walls, carpets and thresholds. Drag shapes to move them, drag a corner to resize, or rotate them. You can also split and merge rooms, rename rooms and set floor types.
Every save is checked against the robot's map so you know it was stored.
The new Maps screen (More > Maps) lets you rename and delete maps, and send the robot out to map your home again, for example after moving the dock.
MULTI-LEVEL HOMES
Keep a map for each floor, switch floors with the picker on the map, or let the robot recognise the floor by itself.
WHAT'S NEW IN THE APP
After an update, a short summary like this one now appears in the app. You can open it again from Settings > About.
FIXES
- Mapping runs now show as Mapping.
- Round carpets keep their shape when you edit carpets.
- The cleaned area no longer flickers during map changes.
- The saved map list loads reliably when you open a robot.
Map edits can currently be saved on robots with a single saved map.

This version works with your existing server. Pairing newer models that use the V2 setup flow requires a server on v1.1.0 or newer; everything else in this release works on older server versions too.
Pairing:
Setting up a vacuum now waits until the process is genuinely finished. Previously the app could report success as soon as the robot reached your server, before setup had fully completed, leaving you with a vacuum that looked
connected but never showed any data. The app now also tells you when a robot has been set up under different credentials, instead of simply timing out with no explanation.
Camera live view:
Newer models secure the camera with a pattern drawn on a grid rather than a typed code. You can now draw it directly, with the keypad still available for robots that use one.
When a robot refuses to start the stream, the app explains why in plain language instead of showing a raw error. Note that on some models, remote viewing can only be switched on from the manufacturer's own app while the robot
is connected to the manufacturer's cloud, and that setting is lost once the robot is moved to a local server.
Connection reliability:
Reopening the app no longer tears down a healthy connection. Map updates are fetched less aggressively while cleaning, which keeps the link responsive on busy networks. Expired server sessions now recover on their own instead
of asking you to sign in again.
Redesign
The device list, vacuum screen and map view have been reworked, with a larger map and revised light and dark themes.
