BACnet Explorer finds, reads and writes BACnet/IP devices from your Mac. Use it to commission controllers, track down a wrong setpoint or learn how a building automation network is put together. DISCOVERY • Who-Is broadcast, with every I-Am reply listed by device instance, address and vendor BROWSE AND WRITE • Object tree of the connected device, grouped by object type • Every property of the selected object • Write present values with the right data type: Real for analog, Enumerated for binary and Unsigned for multi-state objects • Write with priority and relinquish • Connect to several devices at once • Auto-refresh watch list with CSV export LIVE TRENDS • Chart any point live, by polling or by COV subscription • COV subscriptions renew before they expire ALARMS • Alarm summary and event information for the device • Acknowledge alarms TREND LOGS AND SCHEDULES • Read trend log buffers page by page and export them to CSV • View weekly schedules and their effective period DEVICE SIMULATOR • Run a BACnet/IP device on your Mac from templates: an air handling unit, a centrifugal chiller and a VAV box • It answers Who-Is, ReadProperty, WriteProperty and COV subscriptions, and a control panel lets you change its values while you test Error, reject and abort replies from devices are shown with their reason, so a refused write never looks like a network timeout.
