Setup now asks a few quick questions about how and when you surf, then shows today's call for your break and board before anything is offered. Your usual surf time sets your daily reminder. Only your board and your break are required. Fixed: starting Pro now brings up the AI briefing button straight away.

81 more breaks, 417 in all, filling gaps along the US coast: Morro Bay, Yachats, Davenport, Dillon Beach and many more. Search now understands state names too, so California, Florida or SLO brings up the right breaks. Tidier screens. Today shows the safety warning once instead of twice. The second time window only appears when it's a real alternative, and says "Next best" unless it's genuinely good. The conditions card ends with what to wear. The Quiver tab's calculator is now labelled "Volume check". And setup lists the breaks nearest your time zone first.

Skipped the morning reminder during setup? Today now offers it once more: the verdict, the size and which board to grab, at the time you choose, without opening the app. If you'd rather not, one tap and it won't ask again. The seven-day forecast no longer shows one day twice in the week the clocks change. On a flat day, the caption under the verdict now says it's the size holding things back, not your board. Each shaper in the board catalog now appears under a single name. And if a Pro subscription ends, its extra reminders now stop as they should.

A volume check on the Quiver tab, for a board you do not own yet. Put in the dimensions of a board on the shop rack and it tells you whether the float is right for you and for the day — the same arithmetic behind your daily board pick. Newport Point (Blackies) was reading about twice its real size. A local said so, they were right, and it is fixed.

Wave heights in feet or meters, temperatures in °F or °C. Both are in Settings, and both start from your region rather than assuming. AI-written briefings now come back in your phone's language, where that language is Spanish, Portuguese or French. The rest of the app is still in English. And twelve fixes, three of which were wrong every time you opened the app: the hour strip now highlights the hour the conditions below it describe, your daily reminder names the board to grab and reads differently on a good day, and it fires on your clock rather than the break's.

Better board picks on small days. Boardcall now marks a board down much less for extra float when the waves are small, so it stops passing over the board in your rack that would actually catch waves — and stops calling the day held back by your board when a better one was right there. AI briefings see your whole quiver. The AI now gets every board you own rather than the top three, and a briefing that gets wrong which of your boards has the most or least volume is replaced by the on-device one. Corrected local notes. The notes for 118 breaks were checked against current sources and fixed, including access, parking, local surfing rules, seasons, and which breaks suit beginners.

A Home Screen and Lock Screen widget. Today's verdict, the size, the board to grab and the day's tide, without opening the app. The daily reminder now carries the actual call rather than asking you to come and look — including on the days it says don't bother. The forecast runs seven days instead of six. Wind reads as offshore, cross-shore or onshore alongside the condition, and the hour strip is tinted by how each hour scores for you rather than for surfing in general. Where a nearby buoy is reporting, its measured offshore reading sits beside the forecast, so a disagreement between the two is visible instead of hidden.

73 new breaks — 336 in all — across the UK and Europe, Australia, Asia-Pacific, Central and South America, and Africa. Wave heights are recalibrated. Sizes across the whole catalog were checked against real-world readings and corrected break by break. The verdict now looks at your rack. A small day your best board can't float is called marginal, not fun, and a new line under the badge names what held the day back — safety, your board, the wind, or the size. Board shapes are redrawn, so a fish reads differently from a shortboard at a glance.

Today now refreshes itself. Reopen the app later in the day and the verdict, board pick, and tide all catch up automatically instead of showing whatever was true when you last checked. Tap the size, energy, wind, or tide reading on Today to see the next 24 hours as a chart, not just a number. First light and last light are now shown too, and the best-time recommendation respects them. Adding a board you can't find in the catalog now takes your real dimensions instead of rounding them to the nearest inch.

Boardcall now works on iPad, with the same clean, uncluttered layout as iPhone. This update also adds the app's first App Store rating prompt. It asks once, ever, and only after you've actually gotten some use out of the app — either your second board added or your third AI briefing used. Never during setup, never more than once.

Log a session after a surf and future board picks can factor in what's actually worked for you. Fixed a bug where adding your first board during setup could freeze the screen.
