A whole new look: the guardian, the four intruders, the treehouse and the effects are redrawn, with new menus and easier-to-read text. • Smoother animation: the intruders climb and run in twelve steps instead of four, and the guardian's runs and throws play out in full. • Buffs are much stronger: each level makes you 25% faster. • The shop is one screen: the fruit upgrade and all five Special Attacks together, with the price on the buy button. It fits every screen, even with large text. • The leaderboard shows the top three and the players just above and below you. • The guardian stands on its balcony at the same size on every phone. • A new app icon. • Changing your age to under 13 now removes you from the leaderboard and friends' lists. • This update is required: older versions can no longer play the Daily Challenge.

• New: the Daily Challenge — one endless wave a day, the same for every player, three tries. There is no finish line; the pressure rises until it beats you. • Your best goes on the day's board, and the best runs ever played sit in a hall of fame beside it. • The leaderboard shows the players either side of you instead of three rows, and opens on the main board again. • Stage Failed now tells you why you lost. • The first tutorial is shorter and covers far less of the screen while you play. • The fruit and intruder counters are bigger and easier to see mid-match. • A swipe that starts near the edge of the screen no longer interrupts a match.

• The leaderboard now updates as soon as you finish a level. Before, a beaten level often did not appear at all. • Your progress is backed up when you leave the app. Playing several levels in a row no longer waits until you return to the home screen. • Fixed signing in after a reinstall being treated as guest play, which stopped an account from syncing. • Fixed the confirmation buttons on the account screens doing nothing. • Settings now shows every sign-in method on your account, and no longer asks you to sign in when you already are. • The app lets you know once when a new version is available, with a link to the store.
