Cats vs Dogs is a tents and trees logic puzzle with a friendlier face: a cat logic puzzle where the dogs have opinions too. Every rival on the board needs exactly one of your pets sitting beside it. The numbers along the edges tell you how many pets belong in each row and column. Only one arrangement fits them all, and you can always reason your way to it.
No guessing. No luck. No dead ends.
HOW TO PLAY
• Tap a tile to cycle it: empty, grass, your pet, empty again.
• Every rival needs exactly one of your pets directly beside it — up, down, left or right. Never diagonally.
• Your own pets can never touch each other, not even at the corners.
• The number beside each row and column is how many of your pets belong in it.
• Trees block tiles. Plan around them.
PICK A SIDE
Team Cat or Team Dog. Choose once and the whole board flips around you: play as the cats and the dogs become the rivals you place your pets beside. Swap sides any time from the main menu and replay every level from the other point of view.
75 HAND-BUILT LEVELS, SEVEN PLACES TO SOLVE
Start in the Back Garden on gentle 5×5 grids. Work through the Hedge Row, the Apple Orchard, the Open Lawn and the Rooftops, then step up to 6×6 boards in the Deep Woods and the Wide Field. Every level is made by hand and checked by a solver: one solution, no exceptions.
WHY IT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
• Pure deduction. Every grid has exactly one solution, and you can always reach it by logic alone.
• Up to three stars per level. Solve it clean for all three. Using the hint or making too many mistakes costs you one.
• Stars earn paw prints. Spend them to open the next place on the map.
• One hint per level for when you're stuck. It tells you what it will cost before you use it.
• Plays offline. Trains, planes, waiting rooms, dead zones. No connection needed.
• No timers. No lives. No streak to protect. Put it down halfway and come back next week.
• Light and dark themes, easy on the eyes at any hour.
• Learn it in thirty seconds. A five-step tutorial, then you're solving.
• Colourblind-friendly: every colour cue comes with a shape, a face or a number.
• Plays in English, Ukrainian, Spanish and Portuguese.
If you've ever filled a tents and trees grid, or lost an evening to picross, nonogram, sudoku or kakuro, this will feel familiar in one level and different by the third.
