The biggest update since launch. The city is no longer something you drive through. It is something you take apart. TWO THUMBS New TAPS steering: hold the left or right half of the screen to turn, tap to flick the back end out. The game teaches it on your first run. The direction stick is still there in Settings if you prefer it. BLOW THINGS UP Gas stations go up and take every police car in the blast with them. Knock a sign, a pole or a stack of crates down on top of the ones behind you. The biggest hits drop into slow motion and pull the camera in. OIL AND NITRO Grab an oil drum and leave a slick behind you; the police spin out on it. Grab nitro and use the speed to ram. COINS AND A REAL GARAGE Every run pays coins. Buy cars outright instead of borrowing them, paint them from a tray of twelve colours, and choose the colour of the marks your tyres leave. Two new cars to drive: the TRAIL SUV and the ROADSTER. DAILY MISSIONS Three a day. Swap the one you don't like. RESULTS THAT TELL YOU SOMETHING SO CLOSE shows exactly how far you were from your own best and from this week's best, and where your friends are standing. MULTIPLAYER LAST ONE RUNNING now scores points rather than survival alone, shows real player names, and holds together when a connection drops. ALSO Signs along the edge of the map, so the wall stops surprising you. The police read clearly at phone size, and the image is sharper while you drift. Your energy counts down on the Dynamic Island. Optional reminders when new missions are ready. One a day at most, and you choose whether to get them.

NEW: LAST ONE RUNNING, online multiplayer for 4 players. Three runners against the police: get touched and you join the chase. No one online? Bots fill the empty seats after 10 seconds. - Energy for online matches: 3 bars, one returns every 30 minutes, or watch an ad for two more. Single player stays free and unlimited. - The city now has day and night: drive long enough and the sun goes down. - New steering: drag the direction you want to go on screen. - The leaderboard now opens inside the game. - The red Street Sport is back as the starting car. - Fixed an ad card that could stay on LOADING AD. - Players in the EEA and UK can change their privacy choices from Settings.

Optional rewarded videos are now available for a second chance after a run or to borrow a car from the garage. The game remains fully playable without watching ads.
