Choose playback quality for Paramount+ in Safari.
Paramount Quality+ is an independent, free, open-source Safari extension for Mac. See playback information, view the resolutions available for the current stream, and choose Auto, a specific available resolution, or the highest available quality.
The toolbar popup reports playback resolution and bitrate information. For Safari native HLS playback, bitrate is an estimate from the stream manifest, rather than a measurement of network throughput. Your quality preferences are stored locally on this Mac.
To get started, open the Mac app, enable the extension in Safari Settings > Extensions, and allow access to paramountplus.com. Reload the Paramount+ page, start playback, and open the toolbar popup.
Available qualities and compatibility depend on the title, subscription, region, device, DRM, and Safari playback support. Movies, episodes, and live streams may offer different quality options. The extension does not provide a Paramount+ subscription or bypass access restrictions. Safari manages native HLS retries and buffering; ad-blocker compatibility is not guaranteed.
All extension features are available without payment. Optional, repeatable tips support development and unlock no features, content, status, or lasting benefits. No app-specific account is required.
