Manhunt IRL turns your neighborhood, park or campus into a real-life game of Manhunt: the outdoor chase game that mixes hide and seek with tag. Hunters get fuzzy GPS pings. Runners feel a heartbeat in their pocket when a hunter gets close. Tagged runners go to jail until a teammate breaks them out. Start a game in seconds. No sign-up, no account, no tutorial. Share a 4-letter code, a link or a QR code, and friends are in the lobby in two taps. Friends without the app join and play right in their web browser, on any phone. FREE FOR THE WHOLE GROUP • Unlimited games • Up to 50 players, with no player caps • Every core mode: Classic Manhunt and Zombie Infection • Equal information for everyone: nobody can pay to see more of the map • No ads during play THE RULES YOU GREW UP WITH • Head start: runners scatter while hunters wait at jail • Touch tags: tag with a light touch, tap Caught, and the runner confirms • Jail and jailbreak: a free runner holds Jailbreak inside jail for 5 seconds to free the prisoners, while every hunter's phone sounds the alarm • Boundaries that forgive GPS wobble, with a warning buzz near the edge and a 30-second grace period • Zombie Infection: every tagged runner turns hunter, until only the last survivors are left THE APP IS THE REFEREE • Pings, not spyware: hunters see a circle around each runner, not a live dot, and pings speed up as the clock runs down • A heartbeat for runners: it quickens at 80, 50 and 25 meters and never says which way • Tags are checked: the server rejects tags from phones that were too far apart, so nobody can spam tags from across the field • Quick, Standard and Epic presets, with the boundary and hunter count sized to your group PLAY WITH YOUR PHONE IN YOUR POCKET • A Live Activity on your Lock Screen shows the clock and your status • Alerts for pings, tags and jailbreaks, so nobody has to stare at a screen • A battery indicator for every player in the lobby EVERY GAME ENDS IN A STORY • An animated replay of everyone's route • Awards like Houdini, Apex Predator and Final Boss • A share card with abstract path art: no street map and no join code • Run it back with one tap SAFE BY DESIGN • Private, invite-only games, joined by code, link or QR • No accounts, no public profiles, no chat with strangers • Once a game starts, the host approves anyone new who tries to join, and removed players stay out • A referee role for camps, schools and youth groups: sees everyone, can pause the game for all, and every player can see who the referee is • Any player can call a safety pause, any time • Location is used only for a game you join, shared only with the players in it, and game data is deleted from our servers 24 hours after the game ends GREAT FOR Friends after dark, sleepovers, birthday parties, family reunions, campus nights, summer camps, scout troops and youth groups.
