**Your camera is out of reach. Your controls shouldn't be.** CraneSight turns your iPad into a remote camera control and live monitoring station for compatible Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras. Built with crane and jib operators in mind, it brings camera settings, live video, and advanced focus pulling together on one screen. **ADVANCED THREE-POINT FOCUS PULLING** Set three focus positions and move between them with a tap. Use the focus slider to find your mark, then long-press one of three numbered markers to save it. Recall any stored position when you're ready for the shot. Choose how the lens moves: - **Fast** — Quick, smooth focus transitions. - **Medium** — Balanced speed and control. - **Slow** — Gentle pulls for more deliberate shots. - **Straight** — Conventional direct focus movement. Fast, Medium, and Slow use acceleration and deceleration to ease the lens into and out of a pull. In full-screen monitoring, position the focus controller along any of the four screen edges—wherever it works best for your setup. **LIVE VIDEO MONITORING** See what your camera sees while controlling it. - USB video input from compatible capture devices - NDI video sources over your local network - Full-screen monitoring with camera status overlays - GPU-backed video rendering using Apple's Metal technology **CUSTOM MONITORING LUTs** Import up to two custom 17-point or 33-point `.cube` LUTs directly from the MONITOR tab. Apply your preferred LUT to the live preview to evaluate the image with a different color treatment while shooting. LUTs affect only the iPad's monitoring display—not the image recorded by your camera. **BUILT FOR OUTDOOR SHOOTING** Video monitoring and Bluetooth camera control operate independently. **BUILT FOR OUTDOOR SHOOTING** Bright sunlight and difficult lighting can make monitoring challenging. CraneSight includes an optional high-contrast outdoor interface and three preview-only viewing aids: - **Shadow Lift** — Reveals details in darker areas. - **Monochrome** — Removes color distractions. - **Framing** — Provides an alternative view for evaluating composition. These viewing aids affect only the iPad preview. Your camera's recorded footage remains unchanged. **CAMERA CONTROL OVER BLUETOOTH** Control supported Blackmagic camera functions without reaching for the camera: - Start and stop recording - ISO and shutter angle - White balance and tint - Autofocus and supported lens adjustments - Iris and zoom when supported - Internal ND on compatible camera models - Camera date and time synchronization Available controls depend on your camera and attached lens. **ONE SCREEN.
