Once you are happy with how it looks, generate a comprehensive professional PDF that you can save on your device or email to your attorney or financial advisor.
Estate planning usually means several sit-down meetings with professionals, going through every asset, document, and person in your life, often with the clock running and a bill attached. My Estate Plan lets you do that groundwork yourself, calmly, from home. Add what you own and who matters to you, then keep adjusting until the pie chart shows exactly what you intend. When you are happy, generate your Planning Record as a PDF and send it to a professional. You arrive prepared, which can mean fewer meetings, less time, lower costs, and far less stress.
Start with My Situation to record your country, state or region, marital status, children, dependents, and existing planning documents.
Create records for family members, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, professionals, and other important people. Add contact information, relationships, notes, and assign roles to people in your estate plan. Assigning multiple roles to the same person is also possible.
Build an inventory of real estate, bank accounts, investments, retirement accounts, life insurance, businesses, vehicles, digital assets, cryptocurrency, personal property, and other assets. Record value, ownership, institutions, beneficiaries, intended recipients, trust ownership, and notes. Ownership percentage can be reflected in the estimated asset value in the home page.
Record designated beneficiaries, contingent beneficiaries, and intended recipients separately. Assign percentages and review how your distribution intentions relate to individual assets, helping you spot incomplete allocations and areas that may need further review.
Maintain records of important estate-planning documents, including whether they exist, dates, storage locations, professionals involved, notes, and attached files. If you have a trust, record assets that need to be funded, their status, actions required, review dates, and notes.
The Action Center turns open questions and planning gaps into concrete tasks with priorities, statuses, and due dates.
Use Review to see the current state of your planning, identify open actions, and record when you last reviewed your plan. Regular review helps you notice outdated information and areas that may require professional attention.
The Guidance section provides organized explanations of estate-planning concepts and terminology. Use it as a reference while working through your plan.
Once you download the app, you own it. All data is stored on your device. You don’t need to sign up with your email or phone number. The app is never going to ask you for your Google or Apple account information. No internet is required to use this app. No subscription, no ads, and no annoying in-app purchases. Future updates and subsequent downloads on other devices are free as long as you are logged in with the same Apple ID. You can export and import your data in CSV format to sync information across devices.
