LoremBuilder is an ultra-lightweight, advanced placeholder text generator built to save developers and designers time on every mockup, layout, and visual prototype. Living quietly in your menu bar, LoremBuilder lets you copy the exact amount of filler text you need with a single click. Wrap it in your own HTML tags, style it with custom classes and inline CSS, or pull real-world themed sentences straight from Wikipedia when plain Latin just won't do. Global keyboard shortcuts let you recall or regenerate your last block of text from any application, even after a reboot. Version 2.0 is a ground-up rewrite, fully modernised for the latest macOS, Retina-ready, App Sandbox compliant, and tuned for Apple silicon. Key features: • Copy from 1 up to 10 sentences or paragraphs with a single click • Wrap output in your own HTML tags with custom classes and inline styles • Add, edit, and remove your own sentences and tag presets • Use themed sentences pulled from any Wikipedia article instead of classic Latin • Optional opt-in clipboard history, encrypted at rest with AES-GCM and the macOS Keychain • Global hotkey to recall your last generated text from any app, any time • Global hotkey to regenerate fresh text without reopening the menu • Toggle between "br" or "p" separators for multi-paragraph output • Optional title tag on the first sentence of each block • Begin with the classic "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..." opener when you want it • Launch at login support via the modern ServiceManagement API • Runs as a menu bar app with no Dock clutter • Ultra-lightweight and native, only 3 MB on disk Privacy first: LoremBuilder stores all data locally on your Mac. Clipboard history is strictly opt-in, encrypted on disk, and auto-purges on a schedule you control. Nothing is ever sent to LoremBuilder servers (which by the way we don't have).
