Utah Hunting and Fishing is the official application of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. With the latest version of this convenient app on your mobile device, you can easily store your hunting and fishing licenses, e-tag your harvest with a digital permit, identify a variety of species, have education certificates at your fingertips, look up your hunt-drawing information and do so much more. This is a must-have app for anyone who hunts or fishes in Utah! Features: - Download your licenses — Store your whole family’s fishing, hunting or combination licenses on your phone! - E-tag your harvest — Use the digital permit stored on your phone to tag a harvested animal. (Important: E-tagging is not yet available for all permit types. Please see the Utah Hunting and Fishing App webpage [https://wildlife.utah.gov/hunting-and-fishing-app.html] for details.) - Store and carry education certificates — Keep the certificates from any education or orientation courses you’ve completed. This release delivers key enhancements to user experience, offline functionality, and data reliability, along with several UI and performance improvements. Version Management & Updates - The app now checks for new versions on startup and notifies users when an update is available. - Build number is now displayed alongside the version number in the Help section. E-Tagging Enhancements - Added support for location and up to four photos in E-Tag submissions. - Introduced a license upgrade process to fetch the latest license data. - License barcode format updated UI / UX Updates - Added subtle style and color refinements across the app. - Updated app icon and splash screen. Performance & System Updates - GPS Location API updated. - "Deleted" Notifications now automatically purged after 200 days. - Added "Date Added" metadata to saved licenses for future functionality.
