You can now edit loads in phones using the load list panel in addition to the graphical editor, as you can already do in iPad. • NEW: Change constraint type without having to remove it and add a new one. Simply select a constraint, and the constraint type buttons will appear above it in the graphical editor. • NEW: Copy and delete loads using the dropdown menu in the top right of each load card in the load list panel. • IMPROVED: Press the new "Add" (+) button to add loads on phones. This new design allows you to scroll up and down without accidentally dragging the load icons. • IMPROVED: Better screen layout and minor fixes and improvements across the app.

• USER REQUESTED: Configure the number of significant figures used to display values. This does not affect inputs or internal calculations. • USER REQUESTED: Configure whether large values should be displayed using scientific or engineering notation. • USER REQUESTED: Different engineers have different needs, so you can now configure the direction of moment diagrams to match your convention and industry. • IMPROVED: Diagram labels are a little smarter and have a better layout. When selecting a discontinuous point, both sides of it will now be labeled. • IMPROVED: Interaction with distributed loads should feel better now, and the app won't crash if you enter an absurdly large length for it.

• NEW: On iPad, besides editing loads and supports directly in the graphical editor, you can now use a new panel in the right-side toolbar. The new panel displays information in an easier-to-read tabular form. • NEW: Spring supports! Simply drag and drop a spring like any other support and then configure its spring constant directly on the beam editor or using the loads and supports panel. • IMPROVED: Precise dragging of loads and supports should feel easier now that we improved the algorithm we use to snap them in place. • NEW: Database for Chinese shapes • IMPROVED: Updated US data, including new shapes, designations, and some new properties such as workable gage.

• IMPROVED: Output values close to zero will contain less numerical noise, and the app will be able to correctly solve problems with a wider range of numerical magnitudes. For example, when a support is placed extremely close of the edge of the beam relative to the total length of the beam, the internal equation matrix becomes harder to solve numerically, but now the app can solve more of these cases. • NEW: The app will display an error message about numerical stability when numerical error prevents the app from finding a solution. A lot of work went into this! • CHANGED: Now, to edit the length of the beam you need to press the toolbar on the top of the screen, and you will find the "Beam Length" option next to the "Moment of Inertia" and "Elastic Modulus" settings. We made this change because before when the "Beam Length" labels were next to the beam in the main page, users would accidentally press them unintentionally. We believe that this change will make the app easier to use for everybody. • NEW: In the space where the length buttons used to be, we placed some "deflection markers" that allow you to read the amount of deflection right next to the beam.
