Mateforge is a single-player chess roguelike deckbuilder. Command an army of chess pieces, cast powerful spell cards, and survive an ever-collapsing board across an endless run of battles.
Each round the board crumbles beneath you — capture every enemy before it does. Between fights, draft upgrades, recruit and merge pieces, forge your deck, and grow stronger for the boss waiting ahead.

- 15 NEW CARDS — from cheap removal to game-ending legendaries. The pool jumps from 29 to 44.
- ASCENSION — a new difficulty ladder for endless mode. Each level stacks a tougher rule (fewer resources, faster crumble, tougher bosses). Clear a level to unlock the next. High tiers add Permanent Losses: fallen pieces don't come back for the rest of the run — your call whether to face it.
- 9 NEW RELICS — economy, tempo, defense and card draw. The relic pool goes from 6 to 15.
- 3 NEW BOSS ABILITIES — Regenerating, Cursed and Fortified bosses keep the late game dangerous.
- HOW TO PLAY — a new illustrated guide, shown automatically on first launch and always available from the menu.
