Open and review PCB design and manufacturing files locally on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
PCBAtlas is a local-first PCB viewer and review workspace for hardware teams, PCB designers, firmware engineers, QA reviewers, and anyone who needs to inspect real board data away from a full EDA station.
Import supported KiCad projects, schematics, board files, DSN, IPC-2581 XML, ODB++ archives or directories, and recognized manufacturing packages. Keep board revisions in managed PCB workspaces, inspect layouts in 2D, browse project and schematic context where available, and use board-level 3D when spatial context helps.
What PCBAtlas helps with:
- Open supported PCB design and manufacturing files without uploading them to a web viewer
- Organize board revisions in a local library
- Inspect dense boards with pan, zoom, layer controls, search, object details, and selection tools
- Review project data, schematic context, statistics, and import status in Data views
- Use board-level 3D for supported board sessions
- Export PNG/PDF captures, original source packages, converted board outputs, and shareable handoff materials with PCBAtlas Plus
The free tier lets you import and review boards with up to three PCB workspaces. PCBAtlas Plus is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited workspaces, export, source delivery, converted outputs, and sharing workflows.
PCBAtlas is built for review, inspection, QA, and delivery workflows.

1.1.4 9月9日
- Added support for custom AI providers.
- Improved split-view browsing for PCBs and schematics.
- Refined layouts and controls.
- Improved file opening and overall stability.
1.1.3 9月8日
1. Built-in examples and imported projects open faster, with more accurate progress and the option to safely cancel long-running opens.
2. PCB and schematic views now cross-highlight related items in both directions, while each split view keeps its own position and zoom.
3. Schematic selection, connected-net tracing, and navigation through complex sheets are faster and more reliable, with clearer highlights.
4. More recoverable Altium PCB documents can be opened successfully, while large KiCad projects use memory more efficiently during review.
5. Image and PDF export are more dependable, including saving images to Photos on supported devices and choosing export locations on Mac.
6. Viewer controls, dialogs, and inspectors behave more consistently across the app.
7. Help and bug-reporting options are easier to find in Gallery.
1.1.2 9月6日
1. You can look at the board and schematic side by side. Each side remembers where you left it, and tapping a part on one side finds the matching item on the other.
2. Gallery now includes the WooKey security-key example. Project thumbnails show the board when one is available, and the schematic when it isn’t.
3. Going back always takes you straight back. 2D, 3D, Data, and export are on the floating toolbar, and actions you can’t use stay out of the way.
4. KiCad projects open more reliably, including older schematic files, complete project folders, and designs that use outside libraries.
5. Schematics open with the full page in view. Extra symbol notes that used to crowd the pins are no longer drawn on the page.
6. Changing the board background color no longer freezes the view. Large projects and projects you are editing stay smoother and save more reliably.
7. Some Altium board files that could not open before now open, with a clear note when parts of the file could not be read.

### KiCad Projects and Import
- View KiCad schematics and PCB layouts together, with sheet navigation and linked-item highlighting for easier cross-referencing.
- Import standalone schematics, complete project folders, portable archives, DSN projects, and ODB++ content more reliably. Older projects preserve their original sources while outdated app-managed data is rebuilt automatically.
### Editing and Design Review
- Workbench improves trace, via, and component editing with undo, redo, revision saving, and more reliable switching between editing and review.
- Compare board revisions using Overlay, Split, or Blink views with synchronized selection, change summaries, and JSON or PNG export.
- Live design-rule findings can be selected, toggled, saved with each project, and restored when the project is reopened.
### Reliability and Performance
- Gallery restores built-in examples and usable projects after startup. A damaged historical project no longer blocks the rest of the library, and storage problems now provide a retry option.
- Large boards open, pan, zoom, and respond more smoothly, with steadier memory use, clearer text, and more accurate connected-trace selection.
- Export, handoff, and expanded library capacity are now available. The app package is leaner, while external AI providers now require a user-supplied endpoint.
1.1.0 8月26日
1. Open large and complex boards faster with smoother interaction performance, steadier memory usage, and more reliable selection while loading.
2. Resolve several board-opening issues, including ODB++ projects that previously failed to load due to small rounded artwork.
3. Improve UI reliability and workflow: library file/folder pickers work more consistently on iPhone and iPad, “Empty Project” is clearer, and app feedback flow is easier with the new “Find a bug?” action.
