The Proofivy app is designed to help you secure IP rights of your photos, files, and ideas. It caters to a diverse range of users, including but not limited to:
- Artists: Release your work with confidence, knowing that your creations are protected and your ownership is verifiable.
- Entrepreneurs and scientists: Safeguard your ideas and inventions by locking in your IP rights, providing a solid foundation for future patenting or commercialization.
- Journalists: Link your credentials to your signer ID and post CID’s of photos, documents, and text to establish proof of ownership and authenticity.
- Lawyers: Link your credentials to secure contracts, ensuring their legitimacy and protecting them from unauthorized alterations.

The Proofivy app lets you:
- Calculate Content Identifiers (CID's) which contain the content’s cryptographic hash
- Commit CID's to the blockchain without the need for a web3 wallet
- Commit plain text message to the blockchain

The Proofivy app uses the Optimism blockchain. Proofivy is a member of the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI).
