The lightest IP utility for developers A development Mac moves between different networks throughout the day. Every time your connection changes, so does your IP address. When testing local servers and clients, you often need to check your current IP again. QuickMyIP is a lightweight menu bar utility that lets you view the IP addresses of all active network interfaces with a single click. It shows only the information you need—quickly and without distractions. ■ Always up to date QuickMyIP refreshes your IP addresses every time you open the menu. After switching networks, you'll always see your current IPs without refreshing or restarting the app. ■ Organized by interface View IP addresses separately for Wi-Fi, Ethernet, iPhone USB Tethering, Tailscale, and other network interfaces. ■ One-click copy Click any IP address to copy the plain IP to your clipboard, ready to paste into your terminal, browser, or another device. ■ Public IP only when you need it QuickMyIP never queries your public IP automatically. Select "Check Public IP…" for an interface to retrieve the actual egress public IP used by that connection. If you're connected through different networks—such as Wi-Fi and mobile tethering—you can verify the public IP for each interface independently. ■ Just the essentials • IPv4 by default, with optional IPv6 support • Automatically hides loopback and link-local addresses • Optional launch at login (disabled by default) QuickMyIP is a developer-focused menu bar app that clearly separates local and public IP addresses. No bloated network utilities—just the information you need, exactly when you need it. QuickMyIP runs entirely within the App Sandbox. Network access is used only when checking your public IP. No personal information is collected or transmitted.
