Write a word. Hear it spoken. Stay part of the conversation. Scriblet gives your handwriting a voice. Write on the screen with your finger or Apple Pencil. Scriblet recognizes your handwriting and reads it aloud, using the voices already on your iPhone or iPad. Made for the moments when speaking isn't possible: after throat or vocal cord surgery, with ALS or aphasia, after a laryngectomy or tracheostomy, while recovering in the hospital, or simply on the days your voice won't come. Simple enough to hand to someone in a hospital bed. EVEN MORE ACCURATE ON iOS 27 Scriblet reads handwriting on every supported iPhone and iPad. On iOS 27 it gets even more accurate: Scriblet then reads your writing from the pen strokes themselves, how each letter was drawn, not just how it looks. A second reading double-checks the result. Better handwriting recognition • On iOS 27, Scriblet reads your handwriting from the pen strokes themselves and double-checks it with a second reading, for noticeably fewer misread words, even with cursive or hurried writing. New • Read aloud in another language: Scriblet translates your sentence on your device and speaks it in another language, for nurses or doctors whose first language is different, for example (iOS 18+, turn it on in Settings). • Moods now sound clearly different: questioning makes the voice rise at the end. • Like an open book: in landscape and on iPad, the note sheet and your sentence sit side by side. Swap the pages with one tap. • Support Scriblet: a voluntary tip in Settings. It unlocks nothing, and Scriblet stays free. Improved • VoiceOver now reads the camera buttons in your language.
