Sharing into Sidepic now detects and skips duplicates when the source app sends the same image as different share items.

Finally! After a long hiatus, Sidepic 3.0 has more features, an updated interface, and better performance. It’s the little things… – Switch between square and aspect-ratio previews. – Change the app icon to dark or light versions. – Add images using the Files app. – Flag low-resolution photos (you choose the megapixels cutoff). – Better support for sharing images from other apps. Plus new Pro features (in-app purchase required)… – Sync photos with an SMB server folder. – Find duplicates and delete the copies. – Hide the app preview in the background. If you already have Unlimited Photos, the upgrade to Pro is automatically discounted.

Fix the photo count when the image currently being viewed is deleted. Enable access to photos from the Finder when your iPhone/iPad is connected to your Mac.

New in 2.2: – Capture camera photos directly into Sidepic — they don’t go into your Photos library first. – Swipe up or down to conveniently dismiss a photo and return to the grid view. – The viewing, zooming, and paging experience is improved and more familiar.

Minor fixes and copy updates.

Sidepic has always been in dark mode, but now it finally supports light mode, too. If you still want Sidepic to use a dark UI, there’s now an option for that. Some internal updates and minor fixes are also included in this update.

In this update, Sidepic gets some under-the-hood improvements and a few visual tweaks. A new option lets you show the newest photos at the top instead of at the bottom. When viewing photos, a double-tap now zooms to fill the screen, and a new triple-tap zooms to the true photo size. Finally, there’s a new and improved interface for importing images from your Photo Library.

If you have more than 999 photos, wow! That number will now be displayed using an appropriate thousands separator. Plus, other minor code improvements. Yay!

This update fixes an issue that could prevent photos from displaying correctly when rotating your device. Some minor under-the-hood improvements and performance updates are also included for good measure.

This update includes an improved Add to Sidepic experience from other apps.
