foodora Czechia: Food Delivery 4+

After more than two years, I can order food on mobile again, using the iOS built-in VoiceOver screen reader! Thanks a ton for this! I just hope it wasn't unintentional and another update later doesn't break it again. I don't care who owns the company or develops the app as long as it works as expected. Fortunately I've never experienced any delivery horror stories like many other reviews describe, so if the quality of the actual orders and delivery experience remains the same as always, I'm a happy customer once again!

I've ordered the food with wrong number, just after that I realized that my phone number is old, I have updated it with correct one (~1 hour before courier has arrived) and their system doesn't have hot order updates (pretty easy to implement) so the courier couldn't reach me. Instead of trying to contact support and notify them that it was not possible to deliver the order he just marked it as delivered. I couldn't contact the support center for some time for some reason (the button for chat just didn't appear). After a few restart of the application the button for support chat has appeared. Once I contacted the support they blamed me that I have used wrong number (I think that hot updates absence is their technical problem, not my fault). Nevertheless the support said that courier is on the way but it had never been delivered. I've wrote to consumer service and that haven't replied me as well so I haven't received my money back. I'm going to write a complain to consumer right protection.
Absolutely trash service and buggy application. Do not recommend this at all.

The phone number is a key contact for delivery, and if you change it after placing an order, the change will not be reflected in the ongoing order. customer care is supposed to be oriented around the customer not the enterprise however I fail to see that with Dame based on 2 experiences I had which are logged.

First the restaurant made a mistake in my order however same wanted me to pay for it despite me showing them a picture of the receipt and the content of the bag to prove it’s the wrong item. It wasted so much time from my day to be interrogated. And today I see a lack of attempt to even contact the courier to try and resolve the delivery by scheduling a redelivery. They just basically jumped IMMEDIATELY to the conclusion that I should lose the 30€ and not get my food. My phone was off so I was late around 5 mins before I contacted the courier and then dame. The courier said he will re deliever once the customer care representative can initiate it on the app for him to be able to come again.

Bottom line they lost a customer and if you want an enterprise that is customer oriented I’d direct you to BoltFood.

Hi, We apologize for such an unpleasant experience. unfortunately, the couriers cannot come back to deliver the food again, they have fixed routes with other orders.
