This is the only good card game. Originaly I wanted to play MTG, but there is no such a good app for it. I tried Hearthstone and I was really pleased. It has SO NICE graphic and sound making great atmosphere. Perfect game mechanics. No adds and no need to pay anything for enjoying everything. This is a piece made with love, passion and precision. And still developing. Thank You Blizzard, like Your other pieces (that are few and very good, unlike other companies, that make many…garbage), this game is something that can be called art. Live well & please…keep going this way!
Not bad

Lets be honest, game is fun and good players will beat bad ones most of the time even with the horrid luck/rng that this game is build around. When ppl say its not p2w, lets be honest, it is. The beginning of the game, if you are not willing to buy packs is horrid experience, at least when playing standard mode where you will most of the time meet ppl with meta decks and you will, for most part, be with your base set of cards. It is true that you can earn some packs along the way and play fun games, but it is taking quite some time and nerves to build your first good deck. With ability to craft from dust, which you can get from cards that are removed from the roster after expansion, there is good chance that after this moment you will have enough dust and coins to build one maybe two good decks. Saying that, battleground mode is great fun and while it will not give you any packs or dust, it does not require you to buy packs and is great way to spent 20-25 minutes with f2p card game. Design of the game is not for everyone. I kind of like it and compare to other card games it feels well polished and great to interact with. Havent experienced issues with game stability as others are reporting so all good for me there. Game is fun, if you dont get too frustrated with random and luck.

I played hearthstone since the beginning and I had a lot of fun with it. But I slowly grew tired of it. Hearthstone dev team seems to me as one of the laziest least imaginative team in blizzard. They are either stalling mechanics or don’t have ideas how to improve the game. As a lowly consumer I feel like I am being robbed when I purchase packs. I came to a concrete opinion that ty system of purchasing packs is set up against the consumer to a point where it is too expensive and unfriendly to continue the game. You spend a lot of money 55euro for 60 packs? That’s a lot of money and you would expect a lot of value. For that kind of money you can buy a whole new game that has new story and mechanics. But in hearthstone you purchase 60 packs for 55€. You get two legendary cards nobody wants, bunch of epics nobody wants whole lot of commons you will burn later for dust. In fact it happens so often I must state that there must be individual drop rating on cars. For it appears that meta defining cards that are actually powerful and in demand have preset drop rate and goofy less demanded cards have preset higher drop rate even if they share same rarity they don’t drop the same and you could see that through expansions with streamers and youtubers who open thousands of packs what cards drop more. They tinker with numbers so in the end you end up burning most of the stuff that is underpowered to craft cards you want. Realizing later you blew 55 or higher for 5 out of 30 cards that matter in the set. I am quitting hs. It was fun for long but now it just disgusts me. And those random cards are topic on its own.

The latest update made me not enjoy the game at all. New progression system is way worse. Instead of addressing the old issues, we just received the same old ones again in brand new shiny coat. It saddens me that they are so badly focused on ripping off their player base. Speaking as someone who used to buy a lot of packs and as someone who up until now, despite of all it’s flaws still loved the game. From now on, I’m not spending a penny. It’s just not worth it anymore. More cards. Low legendary drop rates. Frequent expansions. Slow progression system, which has recently been nerfed, further crippling players ability to enjoy the game without continuing to pour money down Blizzard’s greedy throat. That being said if you have the option and are willing to spend plus 300euros each year to keep playing. Do it. Game can be great fun.Alright I’m done ranting now.Have a nice day whoever reads this.
