If you like your drivers watching tv while driving and not wearing masks, this is the service for you, at least in Prague. This is the only ride sharing service where I’ve had multiple security issues to report, and they never give refunds, only discounts on future rides. After the latest incident where a driver had to be asked not to watch video and wear a mask, and spent the whole ride shouting at me about how I am stupid to care about laws, it was the last straw. The compensation they offered, a credit worth only half the price of the ride, didn’t do me any good because I didn’t feel safe using their service any more. They said “it’s unlikely you will run into the same driver again”, and funnily I think it’s not even the first time their support has told me that.I have had many issues with drivers over the years becoming aggressive if politely asked to stop doing something that is violating traffic laws. This was the second time in a few weeks I had to ask a driver not to watch tv, and there have been issues with masks countless times. Apparently you only have two minutes after the beginning of the ride to cancel and be refunded, but unfortunately it can take longer than that to notice what is wrong, and then you might be on a freeway or just mentally too overwhelmed by the unhinged lunatic their platform got you stuck in a car with.
Unprofessional approach and unfair cancellation fee

I am deeply disappointed with Bolt, both in terms of the service provided and their customer support approach. Recently, I encountered a situation where the app promised a driver arrival time of 7 minutes. However, after 3 minutes, the driver stopped moving and remained stationary for another 5 minutes without any explanation or communication. Since I was in a hurry, I had no choice but to cancel the ride and book another one. Despite this, Bolt charged me a cancellation fee, even though the issue was clearly on their side – an unrealistic ETA and the driver’s lack of action.When I reached out to customer support, I was told the fee was charged correctly, with the argument that I should allow more time for potential delays. This response is completely unacceptable. The unrealistic arrival time was due to a clear miscalculation by the app, which Bolt refused to acknowledge. My subsequent messages to support went unanswered, and the conversation was abruptly terminated.By doing this, Bolt not only avoided taking responsibility for their mistakes but also demonstrated a completely unprofessional approach to resolving issues. If you plan to use their services, be prepared for zero support and no resolution in case of problems. I expect Bolt to rectify this situation, but so far, there has been no response or compensation.
Late pickups and rude Behavior

I don’t really understand why certain drivers are so rude that they can’t even greet you when you go inside the car. I called for a bolt car from my workplace to my home and I literally had to watch the driver drive past me 2 and even more in the app, even though I clearly put in the map where I’m suppose to be picked up. The driver canceled my ride after making me wait for more than 10 minutes. And the other driver who picked me stopped on the opposite side of the road where I can’t cross because there wasn’t any pedestrian lane. Shouted at me from the other side to cross and I shouted backlash and said “no I can’t”. He decided to make an illegal U-turn just to get to the other side and the first thing this guy showed to me is his rude attitude. And I asked him politely if my location was visible from the apps map and he replied with a rude tone “yes it is visible, I won’t be telling you if it’s visible or not” I would love to mention the names of the guys here, but I would rather not. So please for the people who are in charge of complaints, it would be nice if you could talk and give a proper complaints to such drivers, because they’re literally wasting our time, money and gives us uncomfortable journey. I’m absolutely disappointed and disgusted..

Creepy drivers, app lies about arrival time

There’s not much I can say about the technical side of the apps - it works without major hiccups. But! The arrival times keep changing ALL THE TIME. It is fairly important whether the cab will be there in 2 minutes or 7. Or rather, I’d be happier if you told me it’s going to be 7 and it were 3 rather than the other way around (promised 3 and it were 10).And secondly, I have no idea hat your requirements for taxi drivers are but I’ve taken Taxify 3 times in two different cities and all of them were downright CREEPS. I strongly suspect one of them was actually a different guy than the one registered in the app. The worst one was in Bratislava - like, I absolutely do not appreciate personal questions about my age, where I live or if I’m traveling alone, especially at night, thank you very much, and I’m not even mentioning the condition of the car. Never had such an experience with taxi drivers, Uber or Lyft. So back to regular taxi services it is, sorry Taxify, your drivers are a bunch of creeps and I did not feel safe with any of them.
