I downloaded the new version, which completely changed the outline of the app. I get that, it does look kind of neat and i can get used to it. The only feature which i dont like is the search in chat feature. I liked that it didnt jump exactly into the chat but now it does, and if the chats are spoilered you have to search again. I dont know what to think about the messages and servers being separated either. The app is laggy and broken right now, I hope that gets fixed too. I dont hate the new outline, but I dont exactly like it either. If I could I would go back to the old one.

Update: ipad version now has half the window occupied by channel list. The whole point of using larger screen, to have wider lines, is negated. As a long time Discord user on more platforms, I found recent mobile client update just bad. Rearranging things that old habits don't work anymore is one thing, but most changes are just... bad. Unpolished, unfinished inconsistent mess. What took two taps previously, now takes much more. - different behavior for checking pins between channels vs threads - was there really no space to add Pins tab for threads/posts like it is in channels? - search operators like from: or has: cannot be typed any more, it needs to be selected from settings in search. As a mod of very large server, this is highly inefficient when searching user's messages. - took me 10 minutes to find client settings... it's the tiny gear icon in user profile, invisible when you have colorful banner. - overall buggy AF UI - bar for switching between servers messages etc. often disappears; message that somebody is typing a message persists across channels; channels don't get marked as read; tons of small annoying things like that.

Got banned for doing nothing and now I can't even appeal

6 months ago i got banned for no reason i was asleep during that time when I tried to appeal the ban using the support on my browser i only got the reply from the bot to appeal it using the app which i couldn't log into now after 6 months they finally let my change my password but that didn't help me because I can't use the appeal in the app and there is no way to get a hold of an real person to review it i like this app it was nice using it for chatting and playing with my friends now i can't do any of it(Edit) the automatic bot response doesn't help it near impossible to get someone real to look into your support tickets only Clyde or Nelly respond which are bots and they send you to make the inapp appeal which i cannot use so it's infinite im just going into circles i just want a real person to review my case there is nothing else i want from you

Losing access is frustrating. If you believe your ban was a mistake, you can request a review using the webform at dis.gd/contact. Make sure to select “Appeal an action taken on my account” and provide details. Appeals are reviewed by Trust & Safety.
The ‘Show spoiler content’ setting on the desktop app is now also available on mobile, providing the option to always see what’s behind a ||spoiler tag|| without having to tap to reveal it each time.
In addition, we’ve added an eye-shaped button to the password prompt that appears when you make sensitive account changes, such as adding a passkey. Tap it to see what you’ve typed so far! This one’s useful if you’re unsure whether you placed an I or an l in ‘iiiIIiii1|11LLlllLl|||’.
