Praise for Lifeline:

“This is the best game on the Apple Watch.” – Time.com

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Awesome, BUT...

As much as I was excited to play a third one in the Lifeline series, this one being a sequel to the first one, there are some things about this one that just don't quite make sense when it comes to the story.

The thing is that no matter which "way" you take to reach some future conversation with someone, no matter what you have done before the conversation, it remains basically the same, or makes no sense at all in some parts. I won't spoil anything, but one conversation specifically just really got me when it basically talked about something that hadn't happened (which was correct), but then suddenly twisted the same way as if it had happened. Yeah, sounds weird said like this, but the point is that simply the story sometimes doesn't necessarily follow up with what you've actually done and haven't done.

Having said this, I need to say that generally speaking this game is awesome and I like the story even more than the first one from Taylor's series. Yet still I have to rate it only 4/5 because of the little problem with story continuity. It's definitely not huge, but it certainly is noticeable.

Yay! Part two! And awesome again.

First 5 minutes through and already had a few laughs. I love the tone of the communication and the original execution, plus this time a few extra gadgets for an even more realistic attachment to Taylor. Whether you see Taylor as a he or a she, you'll surely fall for them immediately - again! Can't wait to see where it takes us this time. All in all a hugely addictive game!
