There’s a space for improvement for example in regards to integration. I have the Team app on macOS too, where most annoying things are notifications. Why would Teams team decide to have separate notifications from those delivered by macOS system and why would they let them be located in upper right corner of the screen where system notifications are located. Chaos.
Bad experience
Rob & Roll
I haven’t been using mobile version of Teams for a while. Now when opening it, the app wants me to sign in, when I do it immediately asks me to change password. Why would I want to do that? Mac version doesn’t ask that and I don’t want to break my automatic sign in on Mac just because mobile version wants to change password. Isn’t it supposed to be cloud service where I use the same credentials every where? If employers didn’t want us tu use this, I certainly wouldn’t. Even Mac version is unusable, you can’t even drag&drop file to a coworker when collaborating, we always have to put files on a share. When typing and someone posts a message, the view automatically scrolls away. There so many usability issues, that I just hate using Teams, Office, Office365 and all these apps, it just isn’t made for people, especially not for people who are very productive and needs to work quickly, not waste time in badly working collaboration tools.
Utterly useless — a frustrating downgrade from Skype
blzdblzdblzdblzd
This app does not work. At all. We previously used Skype for all our business communication, and it worked flawlessly. But after Skype was shut down, we were forced to migrate to Teams — and it’s been a complete disaster.Basic features like chat? Broken. Messages frequently fail to display, making it impossible to follow conversations or get work done. Editing messages? Forget it. On mobile, replying to specific messages is hit or miss — sometimes the option is there, sometimes it mysteriously disappears. There’s no consistency, no reliability, and certainly no logic to how this app behaves.Microsoft took a simple, effective tool (Skype) and replaced it with this bloated, dysfunctional mess. One star — and that’s being generous, given how little of it actually works.
Horrible app, lacking important functions
Werevius
MS Teams app is only okay when you want to use the team meeting function. Other functions like uploading images to educational materials is impossible and must be done on PC/Mac. MS Teams has A LOT more functions on computers than in the apps for mobile devices. Who on Earth came with the idea that iOS user doesn’t need to upload files into educational materials? It can’t even sync uploaded files (into Group Files) between iOS version and desktop version!Feels like rushed beta release rather than a regular full-fledged app. Oh, and did I mention that video is not smooth thus it Teams is unusable for people who need to lip read or use sign language? And probably the worst of them - when I write a long text into the chat, a big portion of it just DISAPPEARED as I sent it! Outrageous!
