This NotePlan update introduces Shortcuts support to let you add things to your notes super quickly!

With just a tap, you can add text, tasks, checklists, and more to a note of your choice. Even to periodic notes like Today, Tomorrow, Next Month, and more! You can also integrate the action in other Shortcuts to make your own automations, too.

"ADD TO NOTE" SHORTCUT

NotePlan 3.13 integrates with Apple’s "App Intent" to make working with NotePlan and Apple apps even smoother. From Spotlight integration and Focus mode to Shortcuts: macOS and NotePlan work even more tightly together.

As a result, NotePlan now has an "Add to Note" action in Shortcuts by default. You can use it to create a shortcut that opens up a dialog and lets you add things to a note of your choice. There are even different options to play with:

- Choose any note you want, including periodic notes like Today or Tomorrow
- Select whether you want to add it to the start or end of your note
- You can even put it under a specific Heading
- Choose what you want to add: text, a task, a checklist, a bullet point, a heading, or even a quote
- And add an optional priority: low, medium, or high (!, !! or !!!)

Of course, you can use the "Add to Note" shortcut as an action in your own shortcuts for even deeper or more complex integrations. From pasting clipboard text to creating regular checklists, and more.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

- Tasks in templates are now filtered out in the references area.
- Better attachment downloads. If an attachment fails to download, NotePlan will retry to reduce sync issues with embedded files and images.
- Renaming a hashtag with an emoji no longer causes an issue.

Faultless.

A combination of , calendar, task scheduling, time blocking AND moving all of them in time without losing track. This is Noteplan.
It allows for a balance between itself and native Apple apps, be it on Mac OS, iOS or iPad OS. It keeps some processes to prepare a framework, however, adjusting to individual workflows. Developer’s support beyond reproach. Still looking, where’s a problem. None found.

The best app for daily agenda

Noteplan is the best app to work with your daily agenda. Not only does it apply the principles of cross-referencing between pages, but it also works great with daily notes. So, for me, it's the perfect app for an electronic bullet journal. The author keeps developing the app and brings regular updates and a great discord community.

Linking is what matters

The key benefit of NotePlan is the ability to link any item from a note or daily note to another day or another note.

All items of the day (events, reminders, notes etc.) arrive on the same dashboard.

In planning for the day, the itesm can be easily rearranged into a required structure

It syncs seemlessly througout the Apple environment.
