Thx

Amazing app. But i am curious, its possible run Samsung health on apple watch? Or somehow synchronize apple healt data with Samsung health app? My friends have Samsung and i want to compete with them in app. But i dont have Phone with me all the time, and then i miss some steps.

Developer Response ,

Dear user, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Apple Watch data sync is not supported in Samsung Health. This features isn't available due to compatibility issue, we will pass along the suggestion to the development team, thank you.

Afwul and unreliable

App for zillionth time loses my Be more active data, also misses Steps data. Wrote to complain a number of time, never even got a response. This is totally disrespectful to a long time user.

I received a response in relation to backing up my data when in fact the article shows how to connect the email account with the app. My email account has been connected with health app and has auto sync set and it clearly does not sync from time to time; eg something happened on 31st march and no data from that date backwards is there also steps on the very date are not even recorded. Are you able to offer concrete help on this matter to me, in other case i will be deleting it as it anyways shows „crippled data“ and is of no use to me anymore?

Developer Response ,

Dear user, we are sorry to hear that you issue persists. Perhaps the app is turning off in the background and not reading the data from your phone? Please go to your phone Settings→ Scroll down to apps and open Samsung Health→ Toggle on Background App Refresh.
Please check out this video to know how to select step data source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMZfIQFI4wA (How to: Step Data Source in Samsung Health) If the step data source is not the problem, please go to your phone Settings→ Scroll down to Samsung Health→ Toggle on Motion & Fitness. If your problem persists, please let us know.

Sync issues

The app has sevaral issues with connecting to wearables. I struggle daily to transfer new activity data although the BT connection is alive, Galaxy Watch app respond correctly and Samsung Health app indicates connected watch. Lately I was so desparate when this application did not transfer anything for more than 4 days that I needed to uninstal this app completely.
Lately I had an issue with transferring data after reconnecting to a new iOS device. The steps history dissappeared, although in achievements it is still present. Another tracked activity trends are still visible in the history.

This app is far from well build kind of applications, but unfortunately it can’t be replaced by another. I am terribly confused and move myself asap to iOS wearables.

Developer Response ,

Dear user, we understand your frustration and are very sorry for all the problems you are facing. Open the Samsung Health app directly from the Galaxy Watch app menu and pull down to initiate synchronization. Hopefully, your issue with transferring data will be resolved.

Since you have reconnected to a new device please check out this article to learn when and how data might be lost and how you can prevent that:
