The duration and price of each subscription are displayed in the AES Crypt app under Settings → “AES Crypt (Paid Full Version)” at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

The application still works to decrypt files encrypted somewhere else (e.g. on MacOS or Linux). The process to decrypt is not obvious, you have to select the aes file in "files", then "share" and send it to the app.Encryption needs a paid upgrade to "pro features", but other people posted that this does not appear to be possible. The developper's web site is offline. Apparently, the app is not maintained any more (mid 2022).

The app had been neglected for too long, but version 4.0 is a complete re-write. It now includes its own folder in the iOS Files app, where you can access the same files directly for encryption and decryption. If you have other suggestions or issues, visit our updated support site for help.

One "issue" i would like to be changed is the fact that the "You have no files..." notification appears even before i have entered the passcode. Also: Please(pretty please!) add an option to disable the "automatic encryption process" when adding a file. I want to be able to add files without immediatly beeing asked to enter a password to encrypt them.And lastly: Would it be possible to have the files accessible through the phones built in file manager? I know this would directly interfere with the previously mentioned passcode but maybe you could at least make it available when the app's passcode option is disabled? Or maybe a "one-way-sandbox" of some sort?Thank you!

Please try the updated version (4.0), which is a complete re-write. Some of your requests may already be addressed. The idea to add an option to disable the automatic encryption process when adding a file is a great one — the new app includes a Settings menu for inbound files, and this option can easily be added there in a future update. If you have other suggestions, please visit our updated support site.
