BeWithly is a productivity app that lets you focus together with other people. Instead of working alone and fighting distractions by yourself, you create or join a shared "room," and everyone in that room commits to keeping the app open and staying on task for a set time. The idea is simple: when you know others are in the same session, it's easier to stay present and resist the urge to switch away. BeWithly doesn't track what you do on your device or inside other apps. It only knows whether you're still in BeWithly. That single signal is enough to turn solo focus into shared accountability. BeWithly is for anyone who wants to focus with others: students preparing for exams, remote workers doing deep work, freelancers hitting deadlines, or friends who want to study or work in the same "space" without being in the same room. It's for people who've tried timers and to-do lists but still get pulled into notifications and other tabs. It's also for teams or study groups that want a lightweight way to do focused blocks together. No complicated setup, no meetings, just a room code and a shared commitment to stay in the app. You open BeWithly and either create a new room or join an existing one using a short code. If you create a room, you choose how long the focus session will last. You share the code with the people you want to focus with, by message, chat, or in person. They open the app, enter the code, and join. Once everyone is in, the host starts the session. From that moment, everyone is meant to keep the app open. You can set your phone down or switch to another app on your device; if you leave BeWithly, the app treats that as breaking focus. When the time is up, the session ends. You can see how long you stayed focused and, if you want, run another session.
