Nicht schlecht
Guter Passwort-Manager zu einem fairen Preis. Sehr gut finde ich, dass man einen eigenen Server aufsetzen kann. Dafür 5 Sterne.
Warum aber nur „Nicht schlecht“? Ohne Internet-Verbindung hat man nur lesenden Zugriff auf die Daten. Ändern und Neuanlage geht dann nicht. Ein Cache für Offline-Änderungen wäre nicht die schlechteste Idee. Ob man wirklich immer offline auf die Daten zugreifen kann, hab ich noch nicht herausgefunden. Außerdem wirkt das Design etwas veraltet...ist aber Geschmacksache.
Einen halben Stern würde ich dafür abziehen, wenn das möglich wäre. Deshalb trotzdem 5 Sterne.
Benutzerfreundlich!
Die App macht ihren Job richtig gut!
Alles läuft sehr flüssig, es gibt keine Abstürze und die App hat ein schönes zurückhaltendes Design.
BitWarden ist dank seiner OpenSource Software sehr vertrauenswürdig. Falls Misstrauen herrscht, lässt sich auch ein eigener Server zum speichern aufsetzen.
BitWarden ist für Privatanwender kostenlos zu nutzen, doch lassen sich für 10 Euro im Jahr zusätzliche Funktionen aktivieren; doch reichen die kostenfreien für den normalen Anwender vollkommen aus.
Opensource und sicher
Pro: Open Source, Synchronisation funktioniert schnell und zuverlässig, für viele Plattformen erhältlich, attraktive Premium-Features, und: ein Audit der Software wurde vor kurzem erfolgreich durchgeführt.
Contra: primär nur ein einzelner Entwickler, der jedoch eine sichere und zuverlässige Software entwickelt hat. Auch fehlt leider noch die Möglichkeit, „Diceware“ Kennwörter in der App zu generieren.
