Brauchbarer Editor wenn man vi beherscht

Ich war anfangs nicht sehr begeistert. An vi Befehle kann ich mich nur noch schwach erinnern - ohne geht es mit diesem Editor aber nicht. Das war mir nicht klar. Man kann Text eingeben, das Syntax Highlighting funktioniert gut. Etwas verbesserte Copy/Paste Funktionen per GUI und Stifteingabe wären wünschenswert. Automatische Einrückung muss man erst aktivieren.Anfangs wurden Dateien falsch dargestellt - und ohne auto-safe (muss man erst einschalten) scheint man manchmal auch edits zu verlieren. Das kann ich seit den letzten Updates aber nicht mehr feststellen.Wenn man vi gewöhnt ist, dann ist das ein guter Editor. Es werden aber wohl nicht alle Befehle unterstützt. (Block mode habe ich nicht gefunden).

Dieser editor ist nicht perfekt, da z.B. das Verwenden von private-keys recht unintuitiv ist und die Oberfläche generell etwas mehr auf Gesten-Steuereng ausgelegt sein könnte. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Editoren, die ich bis jetzt vergleichen konnte ist dieser aber der weitaus beste für poweruser (vor allem wegen den vim-bindings). Der Entwickler antwortet schnell auf Fragen und es gibt regelmäßige updates, ich denke die App kann sich noch zu einem richtig professionellem Tool entwickeln. Zu dem Preis aktuell ungeschlagen

Bei mir ist seit den letzten Versionen buffer-editor nicht mehr in Dateien sichtbar. Ich muss dazu sagen das ich ein Backup eingespielt habe. Support reagiert nicht auf Anfrage.
