Burrfect is an espresso shot tracker and recipe dial-in assistant focused on helping you enjoy your espresso more while minimizing wasted energy, time, and most importantly beans! It will:
1. Elegantly and efficiently help you track your progress dialing in espresso recipes for all your favorite beans
2. Recommend starting recipes for new beans based on your setup and crowd-sourced data
3. Use guidance from a recognized expert to teach you to improve your palate and accurately label how balanced (extracted) your shot is
4. Use AI and crowd-sourced data to recommend how to improve the balance of your next shot
5. View a feed of the shots that others in the community have pulled
6. Allow you to rate and save beans you want to remember for the future

*All other features are available, but shot improvement recommendations are not currently available for grinders with multiple adjustment mechanisms, the most common of which are:

Great thought but a long way to go.

I like the idea. But the app seems to be a very early stage. The app bothers me a “pro” and ad-free advertisements every single time.

There isn’t much in the app yet and the community is small to non-existing (yet). You should pull back on your selling and try to build up your app first. Otherwise the app can’t offer enough for the money. Does the AI feature actually use any actual AI technology or isn’t a only a quiet smart written algorithm / math formula ? Also missing:
- Change of setup / tool. (What if I get a new grinder or machine or use multiple at the same time)
- open community? Friends and friends only community would be important at one point. Also it makes more sense to have filters to sort for the same setup / tools to get the chance to actually get actual useful shots for your own setup.
