Choose the voice Conduck speaks with. • Pick any Apple voice installed on your iPhone or iPad, including Premium and Enhanced voices, in Apple's Text-to-Speech settings. Tap a voice to hear it. Automatic keeps your device's default. CarPlay replies use your choice too. • If your chosen voice can't play, the reply is spoken in the default voice instead of staying silent. • If you delete your chosen voice, Conduck goes back to Automatic.

Improved reliability and clearer iCloud sync status. • Fixed an issue that could cause Conduck to close when moving into the background on iPhone or iPad. • iCloud storage warnings now stay visible until the affected content successfully uploads, including after returning to the app.

A tidier iPhone bar and a steadier composer. • iPhone: the chat bar keeps four controls — Conversations, New conversation, your gateway and one button that flips between Chats and Work. The Chats section menu is gone. Copy conversation now lives in each message's menu. • iPhone and iPad: the composer's send button no longer flickers through mic and Stop on every send, and the bar keeps its height while you attach files or record. • Work opens to the same connect-your-AI screen as Chats when no gateway is configured, with a button into guided setup. • Free plan: the Choose active gateways reminder in Settings appears only while a choice is still needed.

Work: a private desk beside your chats. Save thoughts, voice notes, screenshots, links and files from the app, the share sheet, Shortcuts, the Mac menu bar, Apple Watch or CarPlay. Adding to Work sends nothing to your AI. Arrange materials on Home, file them into projects, and add background notes for each project's conversations. When you're ready, write the task, pick the materials and choose your AI. Review the exact message, then send. With a self-hosted agent and file exchange set up, files your AI returns join the project. With content sync on, the desk syncs through your private iCloud; very large files stay on the device that captured them. A conversation started from a project shows its project name in Chats, on Apple Watch and in CarPlay, with Show in Work one tap away. Introducing Conduck Pro: an optional monthly subscription for unlimited active projects and configured gateways. The free plan includes three active projects and three configured gateways across OpenClaw, Hermes and custom connections. OpenRouter never uses a gateway slot. Archive a project to make room for another. If you already have more than three gateways configured, Conduck asks which three stay active; the others are kept, not deleted. Find Pro in Settings, or when you need another project or gateway. Use Restore Purchases in Conduck Pro, or manage the subscription in your App Store settings. Conduck continues to use your own AI and speech providers. Their charges are separate from the Pro subscription. Also in this version: • Chats: a presence dot shows whether this device can reach your gateway before you type. Each message has a menu with Copy and Save to Work. Tap empty space to dismiss the keyboard. • Sign in with OpenRouter creates an API key in your own OpenRouter account. Pasting a key still works. • Content sync is now a setting under General. It is on by default, and the choice applies across your devices. • Usage explains how it counts, keeps a removed gateway's name, and keeps its figures tied to the selected date range. • Gemini speech-to-text uses the dedicated transcription model, asks Google not to retain the request, and gives clearer error messages. • Apple Watch: every Ask opens a Where to? chooser with Add to Work at the end. Captures relay through your iPhone. • CarPlay: the gateway switcher appears from your first gateway, with Add to Work in the chooser. • Share sheet: one Where to? list of gateways and recent chats, with search. Add to Work sits beside Send. • Shortcuts: Add to Work, Add Files to Work and Record a Note to Work. Converse gains a Destination parameter. • Fixed a rare hang that could freeze the app with no crash report, and a spurious file server error shown when the device had no network. • After a few days of use, Conduck may ask once for an App Store review. Usage • How much you actually ask: turns, conversations, and typed against spoken, over 7, 30 or 90 days, or all of it. • Charted by turns, tokens, models, devices or gateways, and broken down by gateway, by device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, CarPlay) and by the model each request asked for. • Token totals exactly as your gateway reports them, with cached input and reasoning output called out separately, so a bill that looks wrong has something to check against. • Reliability at a glance — how often a first try lands, what a retry rescues — plus the individual failures and the reason each one gave. • Your heaviest conversations, ranked, so it is obvious which thread ran up the numbers. • Where your gateway reports nothing, the numbers say so rather than counting it as zero, and every figure says how much of the range it actually covers. • The records outlive the chats they describe, so tidying your conversation list no longer punches a hole in the trend. Clear usage history removes them everywhere, once. • Counted on your device from your own conversations. No account, no analytics, nothing reported to anyone. CarPlay • A session that dies while it is starting can no longer leave the car's microphone wedged. • A reply you have already heard in the car no longer sits there unread. • A voice session that ends in silence signs off out loud instead of just stopping. Sync and Watch • Forgetting a gateway, or deleting a voice endpoint, on one device now lands on the others even if they were asleep when you did it. • Apple Watch no longer flashes busy UI on its way into a capture. Also in 1.4 • Point Conduck at Ollama, Open WebUI, LM Studio or any OpenAI-compatible server on your own network by its IP address or its .local name, with no certificate to set up first. • The address field says what you are trading: the connection is not encrypted, and it works only while you are on that network. Everything beyond your own network still requires HTTPS. • A dictated note on Apple Watch no longer waits forever for its conversation, and can never land in one you did not ask for. Also in 1.3 • Files: every conversation gets its own output folder on your file server, so a reply offers only what is really in that folder, and nothing is fetched until you tap it. Returned files keep their real names, and cloning a conversation brings its files with it. • Your conversation list: rows show working, answered, failed or idle at a glance, and unread and failure marks belong to your account, so reading on one device clears them on the others. A new chat starts on the gateway your last one used. • Privacy and trust: a gateway that redirects to another host, or silently downgrades an encrypted connection, is refused. Replies no longer load images from the internet. • Speed: long replies render far faster, and a reply big enough to take the app down is now bounded. • When something goes wrong: a failed turn keeps its reason across a relaunch, a photo your model would not accept no longer poisons the rest of the chat, and every error names the AI you configured. • Voice: a cloud voice that cannot play falls back to the Apple voice and says so, instead of ending the turn in silence. • Mac and iPad: every control properly clickable, a sidebar that fits the window, drop a file anywhere on the conversation, and a notification when a reply lands. • Plus Copy conversation, an Open Source Licenses screen, and a long tail of copy and layout fixes.

- Diagnostics: a new one-tap troubleshooting screen in Settings that checks your whole setup and tells you exactly what's off and how to fix it: the connection to each of your gateways, file transfer, microphone and notification permissions, network and iCloud sync, and voice. Tap Test everything for a full sweep, or hit Troubleshoot on any error to jump straight to the problem. - Connect more of your services at once: you can now set up to 5 gateways and 5 custom voice endpoints (up from 3). More reliable Apple Watch health reporting. - A smoother Screen Recording permission flow on Mac, plus a range of privacy and reliability fixes under the hood. Diagnostics runs entirely on your device, it adds no tracking and sends nothing to us.
