If a person wants doctor’s consultation for any illness but is unable to reach OPD due to its closure or any logistic difficulty, then DigiDoctor could be of great help. He/she can download the DigiDoctor app from the app store on the smart phone and make consultation with the doctor. Multiple family members can also get registered on it.
Patients can register, login and put their gender, age and travel history in it. They can also enter if they have come into contact with anyone who has traveled abroad. The App prompts to write symptoms and signs such as cough, cold, fever etc. This data gets connected to the Control Room. The doctor on duty at the Control Room will get a notification about this Patient. The doctor will go through the symptoms and advise accordingly what medications are to be taken or what investigations are to be undertaken or if the patient needs to attend the OPD or be referred to another hospital. The patient will get the prescription on his/her mobile.
