Dilate is an advanced vision therapy application which uses machine learning and augmented reality to strengthen eye muscles and raise conscious control of vision acuity. Basic steps are provided below with a learning center in development! * Step 1: Find a piece of clearly printed text on a contrasting background. (i.e - white text and black background.) * Step 2: Open the app and hold as far from your face as possible at eye level. * Step 3: Begin bringing the phone back to your face until the text cannot be seen through the dilate image unless you relax your focus (similar to looking through a store window). * Step 4: You should now be looking through the image and focusing on the text behind it. * Step 5: Play with the distance as the machine learning works differently on each device. NOTE: Text behind the image should be clear but you should be able to easily play with your focus like a store window to either look _through_ the image or at the image itself. That's it! As you do this exercise you should feel some interesting things happening in your eyes. We hope you're hooked and please share your experiences!
