Tapestry weaves your favorite blogs, social media, and more into a unified and chronological timeline.
⁕ The Web Your Way
Tapestry combines posts from your favorite social media services like Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr along with others like RSS feeds, podcasts, YouTube channels, and more. All of your content is presented in chronological order, with no algorithm deciding what you should or shouldn't see.
⁕ A Bird's Eye View
Tapestry makes it easier than ever to browse content from dozens or even hundreds of sources. Create custom timelines, seamlessly sync your reading position across devices, and keep track of feeds in an easy-to-read, color-coded stream of content.
⁕ Avoid Spoilers. Everywhere.
Quickly create powerful rules that control what you do and don't see across all your feeds. Avoid potential spoilers and stay clear of unwanted topics by creating rules that muffle and mute items in everything you follow.
⁕ Powerful Searching
Search for topics and terms across all feeds simultaneously. Tapestry makes it easy to find that blog post, YouTube video, or podcast you're looking for - and easy to mark it for later.
⁕ Private By Design
Your privacy is a priority. Tapestry works with content stored on your device, so searching and viewing content is completely private. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
⁕ Custom Connectors
Expand Tapestry’s potential with third-party connectors. Import custom connectors from trusted developers, or even write your own to add your favorite bit of data to the timeline. If there's an open data feed available, a connector can weave it into Tapestry.
Additional Features:
• Universal app for iOS, iPadOS and macOS
• Quickly open posts in your favorite third party apps to take action
• Syncs your reading position via iCloud across devices
• Fully accessible using VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and more
• Customize Tapestry's app icon, layout, and fonts
• Create custom timelines of your favorite feeds
• Mark your favorite items to read later
• Light and dark mode support

A new app-wide theme to reduce the number of timeline colors, streamlined adding/editing feeds, fixed broken Bluesky replies, better RSS, Mastodon and Reddit support plus much more.
NEW FEATURES
• Added a new color theme – "Simplified"
- Reduces the number of timeline colors for a more unified appearance
- Increased overall contrast and readability of timeline text
- Try it out in "Settings > Appearance > Theme"
IMPROVEMENTS
• Quicklink buttons display a new subdued highlight color when active
• Re-organized the (...) menu items for clearer, more logical grouping
• Renamed "Mark" and "Unmark" to "Mark Item" and "Remove Mark" to help differentiate them from "Bookmark" actions on social services
• Fixed an issue causing feeds to get stuck loading forever [Thx André!]
• Fixed redundant link previews from blogs that linked to themselves
• Adding a new feed is streamlined to present a single, simple "Add Feed" button
• Using "Customize Feed" from the timeline now has all of the same options as using "Settings > Feeds" [Thx Brad!]
• Manually re-verifying after editing certain feeds is no longer necessary
• Fixed potential problems when resetting a feed's authentication tokens
• Cancelling an authentication popup no longer pops up another popup telling you that you cancelled the previous popup
• Exported logs now include build & version info (can't believe it wasn't there wtf)
• Fixed tap targets for some toolbar buttons (*glares at SwiftUI*) [Thx Kyle!]
• Added APNG support for animated banner ad images
• "Settings > Sponsors" now has a switch to see just the sponsors or all of the ads and can be pulled-to-refreshed
CONNECTOR IMPROVEMENTS
• RSS
- Fixed an issue causing the Feed Finder to pick incorrect URLs
- Worked around a problem on Slashdot.org where social media graphics were displayed huge in the timeline [Thx Max!]
• Mastodon
- Added support for opening posts in the Toot! app
- Fixed some bugs that were causing null reference errors
• Bluesky
- Fixed the previously nonfunctional "Include Replies" option
- Fixed some bugs that were causing null reference errors
• Reddit - Follow User
- Added a feed option (on by default) to show the subreddit as an annotation to make it easier to muffle stuff [Thx Jim!]
- When adding a new feed, the suggested name is now "u/name" (which is more Reddit-y) instead of "/u/name" (which isn't)
- Removed the author from the content of the post since all of the posts always have the same author anyway
- Changed the option to show the post's flair text to be off by default
CONNECTOR DEVELOPER NOTES
• Automatic attachment extraction now respects `hidden_tag_classes` and skips over tags with the given CSS class names
• The detail view now also respects `hidden_tag_classes` by applying `display: none` CSS rule to them
• Feed Finder now checks the XML and JSON discovery rules (if any) before the HTML discovery rules
- Previously the HTML discovery rules were checked first
- Our HTML parser for this is very permissive and will happily accept XML as if it were HTML whereas the inverse is not true
- In rare cases, the RSS connector managed to match an HTML rule to a tag within the XML content of a feed and extracted the wrong feed url
- Flipping the rule order worked around this while hopefully not subtly breaking any other connector discovery rules
