The App on my IPad is not working

I downloaded the app to my iPhone and iPad and bought a book to read through the app. Everything works fine on the iPhone, but the book won't open on the iPad. The system requirements are met. It's a shame I can't comfortably read the book on the iPad; it's simply too small on the iPhone.I would be very grateful if this problem could be resolved.
