Your healthcare provider gives you access to the Webcamconsult Client app with a QR code or pin code. The app has been specially developed for use in healthcare. Patients or clients of, for example, hospitals, general practitioners, home care, care homes and mental health care providers can gain access. The use of the app is free for patients and clients. Features of the app: • Chat with your doctor or caretaker. If you have forgotten to ask a question, you can easily ask it via chat, for example. In most cases, an assistant or other practitioner can also read and answer your question. • Overview of all Webcamconsult appointments with your healthcare provider. You will receive a signal the moment your appointment starts. • Video calling. The app allows you to conduct your webcam consultation. The video call can start as soon as you receive the signal from the practitioner. The App is not intended for emergency messages! Data security and privacy are number one at Webcamconsult. We recognize the importance of privacy and data security and are NEN7510 certified. NEN7510 protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Of course Webcamconsult is also ISO 27001 certified. Note: If you don't have automatic iOS updates turned on, make sure to manually update the app regularly.
