Still only functional once onboard

Explora Ambassadors don’t know the app and its functions fully. Very frustrating process to tell them of any problem or errors in the app. They don’t care! All they tell you is the app only works on the ship. That’s not true as I used the app on my previous 4 cruises also for check in. This all of a sudden is no longer possible , as the passport data , correctly photographed into the app , can no longer be stored in next step of the process. An error message appears. This means , the check in process no longer works. It did before the last update. Now it doesn’t. That’s progress in Explora terms. And again, Ambassadors in Geneva couldn’t care less ! And even before , the App is not synchronized to the actual booking and process on the website. So even before , when checked in here in the app , the actual booking in profile on website still showed , that customer needs to check in. How many more years to finally get this right and to have the app and website and customer profile and booking connected and synchronized ? Why go through the effort of a check in process and boarding pass, if in the end it’s not needed and if Ambassadors in Geneva keep saying that the app only works onboard ? If you don’t want customer to use the app before boarding, then you should not offer any other process in it, like check in for example. Or finally get it right !
