Super Idee. Und schön umgesetzt. Könntet ihr ein paar deutsche Stimmen Porten ? Zum Beispiel die von read a loud bzw. die die dort mal drinnen waren. Und was auch cool wäre, ist ein Modus indem man Satz für Satz dargestellt bekommt. Und der gelesene Teil vergrößert wird oder sowas. Also was die Modelle ja eh machen müssen und die Sätze gut zu sprechen. Achso und eine Möglichkeit die Texte über die eigene Hardware also Mac oder linux oder iOS usw. Halt die erstellten Stimmen als mp3 exportieren, sodass man sie auch über music library wie foobar2000 nutzen kann. Also wenn man halt grade nur hören und nicht lesen will. Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einer solchen App, um wissenschaftliche Paper auch mal unterwegs „hören“ zu können, ohne dass die Vorlesefunktion ständig über Referenzen oder Layoutproblemchen stolpert. Spätestens seit ChatGPT erscheint das nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Dennoch gab es das nicht am Markt. Diese App macht das hingegen sehr gut.

The best app in the App Store

This app is a game changer for all slow readers but fast listeners. I couldn’t believe it after I tried the App first time. The app is able to free scientific papers from all clutter (like reference numbers, equations and figures) and to read the cleaned text in a variety of voices in the most natural way. Equations and Figures are described in detail and miraculously correct. The narrator can be skipped from sentence to sentence and it easy to follow by eye thanks to the life text highlighting. In addition it offers summaries, intermediate definitions (even with another narrator for better distinction between original text and AI content) and file managing to stay sorted. I cannot express sufficient gratitude to the programmers. I’ll probably pay for the subscription, although the free plan is currently sufficient, just to say thank you.

i never write reviews, but i cannot express how much i love this app. i have many papers to read, but i also work alot with my hands. so having an app with this function is just a blessing. the news anchor voice is perfect, sounds organic and not robotic, while not having, the fake expressive cadence some tts-voices have. the ui of the app is perfect and seamless and it looks great. i very rarely encounter errors. and the free tier is so generous having 56 per week of audio generation. really thank you for making this possible this changed my life. in a few months ive listend to as much papers and books as i would read in a year.
