Exactly what i was looking for

I don’t like that all those other apps have a pixel game and so on. I just want a simple and well designed app to create my own rewards based on achieved activities. Would be great if there is a Apple Health connection in the future to get rewarded for a workout or meditation automatically and a web interface that i can use in my browser. Also a NFC Tag feature would be nice so i can just connect a task with a nfc tag and instantly finish it by just holding my phone to the tag.

We agree that automatically rewarding workouts or meditation is a very attractive feature, and we’re excited to bring it to life!For a Web interface, since ulives is an offline-first app, we don't have a direct browser solution yet. However, ulives is compatible with Macs featuring Apple Silicon. Please note that because of our offline storage model, data doesn't sync in real-time and would require manual backup/restore to move progress between devices.As for NFC tags, we are exploring the best way to implement this. Our current plan is to introduce "Shortcuts" support in the future. Once integrated, you’ll be able to use the iOS Shortcuts app to create automations that finish tasks via NFC tags. It is amazing. You can do a lot of modifications as you want. You can name your rewards and edit everything. The best app ever. What would also be cool is to introduce some options for bad habits. For example smoking, to lose your rewards. In this case that would be really amazing. Thank you guys for creating this app. I love you!

You can choose to "Abandon" a task to trigger a loss.2. You can create a custom "Penalty Item" and set its effects to deduct EXP or other items when used.As ulives is still in its early stages, your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. I’m using Ulives app for task gamification and I really like the concept — it’s motivating and helps me stay consistent 🎮✅.However, there’s a major issue: the app doesn’t sync across devices. I started on my iPhone and all my tasks and progress are there, but when I opened the app on my MacBook Pro, it looks like a fresh install none of my existing data shows up, and I would have to start from zero.I tried using backup options, but nothing worked for me. In practice, it feels like the same app (even paid), but each device runs independently, as if there’s no shared account.It would be a huge improvement to have:Email sign-in (or Sign in with Apple/Google)Real cross-device sync (iOS ↔ macOS)Reliable backup/restoreThe app has a lot of potential, and I’d happily use it long-term if my progress stayed the same across all my devices.

However, we’d like to clarify that for an offline-first app like ulives, this isn’t something that can be solved by simply adding a login button.Since ulives is designed to let each device store and process its own full set of data independently to ensure it works perfectly offline, using multiple devices simultaneously creates the risk of very complex data conflicts. Managing these "clashes" without compromising your progress is a significant technical challenge that we are carefully evaluating.Currently, ulives functions more like a single-player game, and manual backup/restore remains the most reliable way to transfer data. We are actively exploring more convenient solutions that can balance both offline power and cross-device convenience.Thank you for your patience and for helping us make ulives better!
