Viettel is the largest telecom provider in Vietnam, yet the Tammi app still has no English language option. Vietnam welcomes millions of international tourists and residents every year, and in an age where AI and localization tools are everywhere, this is a basic feature that should have been standard from day one.Because everything is in Vietnamese, foreigners and tourists simply cannot use the app properly. You can't calmly navigate the menus or understand what each option actually does. Instead, you constantly have to take screenshots and run them through a translation app just to make sure you don't tap the wrong button. That's not how a modern app should work.Please add English support — it's the bare minimum for an international-facing service.

Impressive work. Somehow the team built an entire app that speaks only one language, and skipped multilingual support even though the most basic App Store apps include it. Then there’s the login: I entered my phone number and never received a single OTP. Maybe before building a brand new app, you should first improve the one you already have. But developing a new app isn’t a solution either if the same bugs get carried over.

Who launches a new app in 2026 without an English language option, especially as the largest mobile network provider in Vietnam? Millions of tourists travel to Vietnam every year. Vinaphone’s app supports English, and personally, I have not noticed any difference in network quality. So, bye bye Viettel.
