MIDI Harmonizer, Looper, Arpeggiator Generates hundreds of Chords based on tonal Harmony Explore Chords, Scales for your Chord Progression and composing Live Coding Tool Midi Chord Generator and Transposer Based on tonal Harmony theory, the Cords are referred as Degrees. Named with Roman Numbers I..VII, (1-7) Based on the tonal centers and the scale, the degrees are minor, major and diminished Chords, which are used widely in chord progressions for Pop Music. The progression 1-4-6-5 is the most prominent example. Chordinator ist building a Chord based on the degree. You can increase chord complexity with extensions like 7th, 9th, 11th or 13th Notes. The Voicing of the Chord can be altered using different sets of Notes, Called Chord colors. Notes can be exchanged or emitted. Chordinator was built as a life performing tool, with black Keys as modifiers to alter the chord to minor and Major, Sus2/Sus4 and add9 Chords. Some modifiers can be used together to perform complex operations as 2nd Dominant Chords. The Program is inspired by the hardware Prototype Nopia. But in comparison to Nopia, It offers a transposed Solo section instead single Bass Keys.  So the solo section is transposed to the current chords scale ! So any major, minor or diminished scale is transposed to C-Major. This makes improvisations exceptionally easy. Check the Website to see the software in action! We provide samples how to use chordinator to replay existing songs and Sheet music samples for chord progressions. Walking Bass In comparison to Nopia, Chordinator is compatible with any Midi Controller. Midi CC Commands can be mapped to any Control Element and saved. The bass section can generate a Bass (and a 2nd Note) from the root. It can follow the inverted Chords , which automatically generates walking bass. The inversions can be automatically increased with different patterns at any keypress and reset when a new chord is played. A humanizer adds delays, based on physical modeling, to the keypress, so that the generated chord notes would appear slightly delayed. Internal Sounds Software Midi Instrument with internal sf2 Engine and Midi Routing creates Chord, Solo and Bass from Midi Channel #1 Keyboard.
