Read the Bible, before you scroll. BibleScroll blocks your most distracting apps every day until you've spent time in Scripture. Read right inside the app, in the translation you trust. Finish today's passage and your apps unlock. Spend less time scrolling and more time with God. • App Blocking: Pick the apps that eat up your day, like social media, games and dating apps. BibleScroll keeps them locked until you've read today's passage. • Read Bible to Unlock: One tap opens today's reading. Finish it, and your apps are open for the rest of the day. • Daily Streaks: Watch your streak grow, and see every day you showed up this week. • Multiple Bible Versions: Choose the translation you like best: the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), American Standard Version (ASV) or World English Bible Catholic Edition (WEBC). • Bible in Spanish and Portuguese: Read in Español with the Reina-Valera 1909 or Biblia de Jerusalén, or in Português with the Bíblia Livre. • Daily Verse: Start every morning with a new verse of encouragement. • Bible Verse Widget: Get a new verse every day, right on your lock screen or home screen. • Saved Verses: Bookmark the verses that stay with you and come back to them anytime. • Distraction-Free Reading: A clean, quiet Bible with no feeds to pull you away. Just Scripture. Download BibleScroll and make the Bible the first thing you open every day. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

A mandatory “donation gift” is not a donation

I was genuinely excited to try Bible Scroll, especially as someone completely new to the Bible and faith, looking for an accessible way to get into it. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.First, you have to complete an entire questionnaire and grant permissions, including Screen Time access. Only at the very end do you find out that you can’t actually use or even properly try the app without paying around €10/week or €70/year.Calling this a “Donation Gift” feels very misleading. A donation is voluntary. If I have to pay to continue, it’s a paywall.I have no problem paying for a good app, but let me try it first and be transparent about the cost upfront. Hiding a mandatory payment behind the language of “donation gift“ especially for an app centered around faith and the Bible left a very bad impression.

I really like the concept. But unfortunately it only contains a few English Bible translations. I am missing a lot of dynamique equivalent translations like NIV or in French Le semeur. It would be good to have those and also have more languages like French, German…I would like to be able to read really in the Bible app to unlook. This way the bible scroll doesn’t function for me
