Every ingredient now explains itself. • Tap any ingredient to see what it actually is, why it's in the food, and what to watch for — including the hundreds that used to open an empty sheet. • Searching by brand works properly now. Type "purina" and you get Purina foods first, instead of whichever product happened to have the shortest name. • Over 30,000 dog and cat foods are built into the app, up from 20,000. • Sharper ingredient matching, so more foods score correctly on the first scan. • A safety warning now looks the same everywhere it appears, so an ingredient can't seem riskier on one screen than another. Thanks for using PetScans!

See PetScans work before you finish setup. • During onboarding you can now search your own pet's foods and see them scored right away — so the app proves itself before you're done setting up. • Set up what to avoid — grains, chicken, common allergens, and more — once, and PetScans now applies those groups everywhere it scores, not just on a single scan. • Fixed a score card that could slide sideways off the screen when a product had a very long ingredient name. • Sharper ingredient matching, so more foods score correctly on the first scan. Thanks for using PetScans!

Scanning is instant now. • Over 10,000 popular pet foods are built into the app, so most barcodes score the moment you scan them — no waiting on a lookup. • PetScans opens much faster, especially the first time you launch it after installing. • Sharing a scan now produces a proper score card you can actually send to someone, instead of a wall of text. • Fixed a handful of first-run problems, including choosing what to avoid during setup and the camera permission prompt.
