What's new in this version Why things changed Since October 2026, Meta, the company behind WhatsApp, charges us for every photo and video we deliver to your WhatsApp. The charge is highest in Indonesia, and it is now more than the app earns, so we've made some changes to keep WhatStatHD running and keep a free plan for everyone. Free plan in Indonesia: send it to yourself in HD Where we can't deliver to WhatsApp for free, such as Indonesia, you can still compress photos and videos for free, with no weekly limit. Save the file to your phone, send it to yourself on WhatsApp ("Message yourself") with HD turned on, then forward it to your Status. The app shows you each step. Long videos are still split into Status-length parts, each with its own caption. New for everyone - Day Pass: 24 hours of Premium for one payment, nothing renews. - Weekly plan: Premium week by week, cancel anytime. - Save & share to yourself: an optional way to save or share any file yourself, alongside sending it straight to WhatsApp. - Premium sends your files straight to your WhatsApp in HD, with no watermark and no ads. - Premium prices have been updated because of Meta's charges. - In-app notices for important news. - Clearer messages when something can't be done, and more reliable uploads for large videos. - All new screens translated. Thank you for sticking with us.
