QuickSnapX is a lightweight Mac app for recording your screen and camera. You choose the area to capture, start with one tap, and save high-quality MP4 videos wherever you like.
You decide what to record. Region capture: a resizable frame shows the area that will be recorded. Turn on “Adjust area” to move and resize it, or center it with one click. Aspect ratio can be set to 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1, or custom. System audio captures sound from your Mac (music, apps, calls). Microphone adds your voice; choose the input device from the menu. Camera is an optional facecam window; drag it into the recording frame and it is included in the video like any other window, in a circle or rectangle, with adjustable size.
Simple to use. All controls sit in a single bar at the top: enable the options you need, set your region and camera, then start recording. When you stop, a save dialog lets you choose the folder and filename for your MP4—no fixed save location.
Built for Mac. QuickSnapX uses ScreenCaptureKit and AVFoundation for stable, efficient capture. It works across multiple spaces and stays out of your way. Available in English and Simplified Chinese.
This app offers in-app purchases and subscription services. Some features require a subscription to access. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be managed or canceled in account settings.
